Great Girdwood Property

The property was spacious, clean and neat. Perfect place for a ski trip with close access to the mountain. Love the beautiful mossy trees surrounding the property, and the Hot Tub was perfect for relaxing after a long ski day!

Great Girdwood Getaway

Great quirky spot tucked into the woods in Girdwood. House easily accommodated our group of 6 including kids. Lots of room to hang out and appreciated the kitchen well stocked with pots/pans and spices. Great location with easy access to Virgin Creek Falls and the day lodge. Oven worked well as did the hot tub!

This is a gorgeous and unique property. It was generally comfortable and was really clean. We wished the beds and pillows were less cheap/more comfortable given the price of the stay.

Family with adult/teen kids

There were 6 adults and one 16 year old staying at the property. The facilities were perfect for our group. The hot tub was just what was needed at the end of a long, cold day. Girdwood area is beautiful and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Great location. Next time we go, I'm going to check the opening of the ski resort just minutes away from the rental. It wasn't open when we were in Alaska. It opened days after we left to come home. Beautiful state and location. Definitely recommend to others.

Fabulous Hide A Way in the Woods!

This place was tucked away in the woods but still close enough to everything! Lots of stairs but that’s ok! It helped after all the eating we did. The glass room was super cool. If I wasn’t on the porch drinking my coffee, I was in the glass/sunroom. The place was equipped with everything you need. Fabulous place to stay!

Nice place, but needs lot of work

The house and location were great. This is a really nice space. Beautiful spot too. The house is suffering from a lack of maintenance though. The oven didn’t work, hot tub would only work on full hot, dishwasher didn’t work, most blinds in the house didn’t work, etc.

This property has great potential. Good location, spacious and nice kitchen but really needs some repairs, especially the electrical system. We mentioned this in our review with manager and no response.

Cabin needs updated and stove/ove fixed

Property is very ran down, needs alot of updates and repairs.We could not get the stove or oven to work til day 5 of our trip, local manger came in and fixed it but we still smelled gas when we used either of them, had to open doors and windows to use. We still enjoyed Girdwood and loved the scenery the mountains there are breathtaking.

Beautiful authentic " Cabin in the woods"

It's nestled in the forest at the base of the mountain and ski lift. 3 floors and really really Cool. It's a big relief to walk into a property and know that it's clean! We didn't have to re wash dishes or cook ware. If I ever make it back to Girdwood AK, this is where I will stay.

Perfect Alyeska Ski Weekend.

Lovely Girdwood Getaway

We spent a ski weekend with our family and enjoyed the house very much. The upper bedroom feels like your sleeping in the tree canopy. Plenty of beds and bedding, well-equipped kitchen, and quiet location.
