"My mom and I came from TN for a wedding in Madison. This place was a great place and just about 20 minutes from the wedding and family. There is a park across the road with great views of the lake. The house is clean and stocked with everything needed for a get away. The only downfalls were the stair case is steep so it might be difficult for some and the parking has signs but some are missing so parking might be tight during the busy season. Overall, great place and I would stay there again."

"We stayed two nights while attending a wedding. The location worked great for GOTL, with a view of Lake Erie from the living room. The house was clean and neat inside, though musty. The exterior decks were dangerous with a hole through the floor in one and a bottom step missing from the other."

"We stayed here for a family get together. The house was very clean and well stocked with towels, washcloths, and hotel size soaps. I wasn't sure if there was a coffee make but there is both a regular coffee maker as well as a Keurig at the location. The owners were very good with communication and very attentive when the Wi-fi wasn't working. We basically were at the house only for sleeping each day but there was enough space for all 8 of us. "Beautiful updated home near the lake with all the kitchen supplies needed for family meals. Laura went above and beyond to make sure our two kids had snacks, games, a fire pit supplies at the property. She really makes the house feel welcoming, including bday sign for my husband! There were also lots supplies and we didn't need to purchase or bring anything additional. The upstairs rooms are warmer than downstairs but equipped with HVAC so can be remedied. "This property was perfectly suited for our needs, we spent 3 days at Spire watch our daughter swim so we just needed something closeby and to sleep/eat/shower that accepted pets. Some of the pictures made it look a lot bigger than what it was. Conveniently located a short distance from Spire and lake views"

"I've been to Ezmerelda's 3 times now and love it more each time! It's my "go to" place for time away with my best friend or boyfriend. A fire at the wine shack soothes my soul. I love watching the birds at the feeders and seeing all the wonderful plants bloom. Jan, the hostess, is a steward of wildlife and plant propagation and the gardens are simply beautiful. Lots of little restaurants, wineries, and antique shops nearby."

"Perfect for 2 people. We had everything we needed for our visit. We enjoyed the quiet country setting. A nice grocery store was a short drive and Ashtabula was an easy drive. The purpose of our trip was to observe the total solar eclipse, but we made time to do a covered bridges tour. The trails to the river were enjoyable. Recommend this cottage."
