"i love the location and my room. The bar area was amazing and drinks were great, pricey, but great. This hotel is steps away from the tubes, so you can easily travel. A lot of the shops and food around that is in walking distant. The only think about the stay was my shower drain was stopped up, and it took them a while to fix it. "

"I really enjoyed my stay there - the bed was big and comfortable and the staff were just fantastic. When i first got there (fairly late and exhausted) they were so friendly and helpful, they checked in for me and really made me feel at home. It was exactly what i needed after a long day. The room was nice - the coloured lights in the bathroom were really cool, i enjoyed playing round with them on the IPad and kept them on all night. The blackout blind worked a lot better than i expected too - i woke up early and almost blinded myself when i casually opened them in the morning. There are a couple of things they could improve on: using the IPad to control the TV was a tad annoying. You can't access the normal TV guide so you have to scroll through all the channels on the off chance you can find something you want to watch. Similarly, you couldn't put a sleep timer on the TV either (which i know you can do normally as I have the same TV). It'd be really good if these things could be added as options on the ipad. The IPad would also benefit from having access to the menu for the bar/restaurant downstairs and information about the room (like check out instructions and where the earplugs are). I mention the earplugs because i was woken up at 4am to noise outside and didn't know where they were, it wasn't a big deal though. Overall i really enjoyed the stay and would definitely stay again!"

"The hotel room was fine but the bar and rooftop seating were closed which was very disappointing. The in-house Sotto restaurant was outrageously expensive and mediocre at best. The waiter said we couldn't have any drinks other than the 4 specialty ones in the menu. He also said we got a special discount for staying at the hotel but they just inflated the original price to be even more ridiculous. We do NOT recommend either the hotel or the restaurant."

"Tired decor, aged carpets and unsavoury smells await the unsuspecting traveler. Also be ready for unsolicited tipping charge unmentioned in normal correspondence."

"Staff were extremely helpful. Minor issue with a window not opening and missing tv remote. However they resolved both issues quickly. Great room, location and exceptionally helpful staff."

"We were very early to check-in and just wanted to leave our bags we were offered an early check-in if we accepted an upgrade at a price, we were under no time pressure so declined to upgrade but we were then immediately checked in and given our rooms, I didn't like that as it suggested the hotel were trying to get more money out of us, a little thing but left us feeling a little uncomfortable. Other than that although the room was very small it was OK, nothing special but OK."
