This is a quaint hotel — old timey with four poster beds. The staff were all lovely welcoming people and there was an amazing restaurant very nearby. It’s right off a pier. We loved it.

It was, well, fine. We stayed one night, and it was decent price and right in the middle of Fells Point. The bathroom was recently upgraded. But... Well...It was old, but not in an antique way. Sure, some antique charm throughout. But much of the hotel just seemed old. Dirty floors, sloppy repairs, very basic sheets... Not even a comforter, which was weird. Thin walls, uncomfortable bed. The mattress was very old... Again, not antique. Worn. Again, served its purpose, and we spent most of our time out in Fells Point. Stay here for the location for sure... But not the digs.

Checkin on Saturday afternoon was good. Desk attendant was helpful and advised which floor breakfast would be on Saturday. Upon entering our room, it was clearly evident that furniture, linens , overall room was neglected. There was a stain on the mattress cover, clearly visible as there was no bedskirt. There were two sheets on bed, no bedspread ..pillowcases were dingy. Furniture was falling apart and beyond repair. When we asked about breakfast Saturday morning we were told by new room attendant that there was no breakfast on weekends. We spent $191 for a terrible experience. The attendant told us the inn was being remodeled We will not be back

We’ve stayed here in the past and have been pleased. Our most recent stay was not as pleasant, as the Inn has been taken over by Hilton and is in the midst of renovations, which we were not aware of prior to the noisy conditions. The staff is wonderful, and they were most apologetic. We do look forward to returning to Baltimore and staying here once the renovations are completed.

We liked the location of the property. The staff was very freindly. The bar was convenient and the bartender was very entertaining. Since the weather was very cold and rainy, that was a good activity to do!

Staff were absolutely fantastic. It's a historic property, so lovely. But there are going to be some quirks - like a bit smaller rooms, doors that don't close, lots of awkward passageways and little stairs to get to your room. But full of charm and a wonderful area.

The hotel I saw advertised on Expedia and the Hotel I stayed at were not the same. I would say there was a lot of false advertisement going on. The room didn't look at all like the pictures advertised on Expedia, you could see they just shoved a bunch of old furniture in this room we stayed in, nothing matched. There were no hangers to hang up our clothes until i said something, no phone in the room to call the front desk, no water to make coffee, no housekeeping to freshen up the room each day and make the bed, the bathroom had no space provided to put your toilet trees; you had to lay everything on the floor. At one point during the day we had no water, the tv kept going out and turning off on it's own, b/c they had Direct TV and a ten yr old tv. New Tv's don't cost that much, and streaming is the way to go, you wouldn't have so many problems. There was only one vent in the room that worked for AC, the vent in the bathroom didn't work. They are having this hotel taken over and have construction going on which was annoying to listen too. I did get some money taken off my bill, however, if i had it my way, I should've received a full refund, b/c it wasn't a nice experience.

What was Great: 1) The Front Desk Staff were all friendly and welcoming. 2) Great location! Yes, I can be loud at times but it is in the center of Fell's Point. Close to shops, waterfront, and amazing restaurants. 3) The Bar downstairs is one of the best bars I have been. Steve is an amazing mixologist and just a delightful person. 4) The price is a bargain given the location. The not so good: 1) Parking. Caroline St Parking Deck is your best bet, but it is a pretty good hike. 2) The place certainly has quirks. Key cards often don't work, shower is either very hot or very cold. Overall we had a great time and will be back :)

Great location with lots to do nearby and awesome view. It is in a very bustling part of town, so the noise level is high, but if you are okay with that, then this is a great place. Lots of historic charm! Not a cookie cutter hotel like you will find in the harbor.

Hotel lobby was very impressive and appeared as in the photo in the website. Staff was very courteous at all times. Room was clean and in great condition. The Italian restaurant had an excellent chicken piccata and great service. The Anchor Bar in the basement was great and Steve was a fantastic bartender.
