Loved the location, common areas, and staff. The hotel is in a very nice area that was safe and close to all of the main attractions. The overall vibe of the hotel was so fun! Staff were super kind and helpful. We had an interior queen room. It was nice and the bed was fine. It was a bit muggy at times, though the AC and fan helped to some extent. The walls were thin. We unfortunately had some loud neighbors. Never bad enough to notify staff though. We had some strange occurrences, like a light going on by itself and a feeling of someone else being there. After researching the property this isn't uncommon. Never felt negative, just a bit spooky. Possibly part of the area though! It wouldn't deter me from staying there again.

Interesting little place in NOLA. After living in Haiti for over 3 years and seeing some of the concentrated verses of voodoo there, I thought this was just a silly tourist trap. Although it seemed they had some pretty authentic things. My girlfriend at the time purchased a "fertility" ring there. Well let's just say 2 years later we now have a one year old and happily married.
