"Everything was great - from check-in to check-out and everything in between. Professional, courteous staff that was very accomodating. The room was very clean, the A/C worked fine - the shower pressure was perfect. Ray - the manager was very helpful getting my cell phone back for me after I left it in my Uber. Ray contacted Uber and got my phone returned to me within 2 hours. Amazing location in the Gaslamp section of San Diego."

"PRO: We've been to several resorts in the Carribean, Mexico, and Hawaii. Gaylord Pacific is one of the most beautiful resorts we've stayed at. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a staff member that went above and beyond and not only showed us the registration area but gave us a mini tour of the resort. The atrium is filled with natural lighting, an impressive 3D digital screen, and a tranquil rainfall fountain. Our senses were awakened and awe struck at such sleek beauty. The waterpark had something for the whole family to enjoy. Highly recommend the Bay view room, with balcony. We didn't want to leave. CON: Our room had a breathtaking view of the bay, but there's still construction next to the resort, (on the marina side) which began 7am during the weekday. If you're room is near the marina side expect to hear some construction noise. Overall I'd rate the resort 4.5 stars, if it weren't for the construction noise, it definitely deserves 5 stars. "

"We stayed in the old Victorian building with a balcony overlooking the courtyard garden. It was a beautifully appointed room with lots of space. Everything about the properly is lovely. As a luxury hotel be prepared to pay luxury prices. (Over $200 for 4 beach lounge chairs and two umbrellas for the day). You definitely get what you pay for though, it’s an amazing properly. "
