You can share this link with anyone in your party for access to the details! The fireplace is not for guest use, but we have plenty of other cozy spaces to gather and enjoy. The owners store their boat on the dock, but you are welcome to use the other side for boat docking if you bring your own watercraft. The jet ski on the property belongs to the owners and is not available for guest use. There is one security camera on the property pointing towards the driveway. We are very close to the water - expect to see wildlife including bugs, lizards, birds, turtles, raccoons, squirrels, and the occasional deer. Regular pest treatments are done both inside and out but it is very easy for pests to slip into the house if doors or windows are left open. STR PERMIT # 2500872 The maximum occupancy that is shown in the listing includes any and all visitors that will be at the home. Over-occupancy or unauthorized events will result in IMMEDIATE eviction without refund. Any guest who refuses to vacate when instructed will be treated as a trespasser. No parties, events, or gatherings over the listed occupancy are allowed under any circumstances. Bookings made under false pretenses will be denied access with no refund. You must be 25 years of age or older in order to book one of our homes. While we ask a series of screening questions to all guests, local guests are subject to additional screening steps, including a phone call. We reserve the right to cancel any guest reservations at our discretion. Quiet hours are from 10PM until 8AM every day of the week. We have zero tolerance for noise complaints and multiple violations will result in immediate eviction without refund. No smoking or vaping inside of the home under any circumstances. You will incur an additional fee of $500 if you smoke within the home + the cost of any damages. If you smoke outdoors you must dispose of any debris safely, do not discard anything in the yard or patio. No illegal substances or activities on the premises. Pets must be approved in advance. We charge a pet fee for up to 2 pets at all of our pet friendly locations. If there is evidence of any undisclosed pets in the home (pet friendly or non-pet friendly), you will be charged for cleaning + any additional damages. If the property is left in an unusually dirty condition that requires deep cleaning beyond our standard turnover, an additional fee will be charged to cover the extra housekeeping costs. Early check in and late check out for up to 2 hours is available per calendar availability, at an additional cost. This must be requested through your boarding pass, and we will approve / decline after reviewing our cleaning schedule. Do not tamper with smoke detectors, security devices, or Wi-Fi equipment. The boat dock makes spending a day on the water easily accessible with boat rental opportunities nearby. We brought fold-out lawn chairs for dock-sitting and our water floats (need tie-up ropes!) which added to our enjoyment of the lake. If you wish to use the paddle board, we suggest bringing a water vest. The home location is very peaceful but offers a touch of “rustic living “. It needs some TLC (eg. cleaning/maintenance, bug treatment, sprucing up in general) Not the place if you’re looking for luxurious living. We needed to clean off outdoor seating, sweep floors and wipe clean inside cabinets before “settling in”. It provided enough space for our family to gather and having 2 refrigerators/freezers was an added bonus. Nice, warm shower with great water pressure. It is fully fenced that added to our relaxation. We recommend bringing your own paper products (paper plates, ziplocks, TP, napkins, paper towels, garbage bags, etc) as they are very limited. We had plans to use the grill for some burgs our first night, but we’re surprised that all 3 propane tanks were empty so we purchased a charcoal grill from nearby Super Walmart. Several small bluegill catches near the fire pit was fun too. In general, we had a fabulous time and fell in love with Lake Murray. The cleaning crew did let out one aspect of cleaning that was a little disappointing but I won’t give the details. Notified PM and they apologized but nothing further so we were left to clean it. The house was clean and up to our expectations. We really enjoyed having a landing on the property. It wasn’t the safest for my 14 month old to play outside but we enjoyed the balcony porch area. I rented the high chair and when part of it wasn’t put together and on site I messaged Wendy and she was quick to respond and got it there quickly. The house smelled musty. Living room and dining room area rugs were so dirty. We had to buy air fresheners, a coffee pot because the one in the house was disgusting. The sink in the kitchen was stained and the shower was very old and very dirty looking. No outdoor lights which was extremely dangerous because entrance to the house was around the back. Location of the house was so far from any stores and restaurants. The only thing the house has going for it is the lake view and even with that I would not recommend because the outside furniture hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time which made it impossible to sit outside. This house needs a lot of attention and work before someone can enjoy staying there. I voiced my concerns but wasn’t even contacted by anyone to see if there was anything they could do to rectify our disappointment. We paid a lot of money for the 2 weeks we stayed there and was even charged an extra 50 for coming less than an hour early. The house was wonderful for the two weeks my husband and I booked it for our daughter’s marriage and graduation. The location is fantastic, with the house centrally situated on the lake, making it easy to reach top fishing spots and enjoy boating thanks to the convenient on-site boat ramp and dock. The tall fencing around the entire yard was a huge plus, as it allowed our dogs the freedom to explore and play safely, which they absolutely loved. The spacious wrap-around deck, complete with a Blackstone grill, was perfect for soaking in the lake views while keeping an eye on our dogs at play. Evenings around the firepit, located right by the lake, became a highlight of our trip. Inside, the house is equally impressive. The bedrooms are large and comfortable, each with a king-sized bed, and the oversized laundry room—with both washer and dryer and two additional full-sized beds—was a pleasant surprise. The kitchen layout is a bit unconventional, but this minor quirk was easily overlooked given the home’s many outstanding features. The living room offers a large, cozy sectional positioned for optimal views of the TV or, even better, the lake through two stunning picture windows. Overall, this is the best lake home we’ve rented over the years, and we look forward to returning.
