Good place, good price

The place was nice, had plenty of parking for multiple vehicles. Butte is an interesting place with lots of history; this house is right in the middle of it.

Butte Vacation

This property was absolutely perfect for my family. Plenty of space to spread out, and the covered porch was my absolute favorite part of the home. It was very easy to communicate with the owner/manager. Right uptown Butte, so we had a beautiful view. Loved every part of our stay.

We were a family of seven and it was a great house for us. Fantastic views and it was great to be in the centre of uptown, so close to Park Street and all the other cultural sites of Butte.

Butte Folk Fest 2024

Location up on the hill was great. Easy to find with a spectacular view of the city and surrounding area. Inside was awesome with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Main floor had a portable AC unit which kept us cool and comfortable during the summer heat wave. Front porch was a great place to enjoy our morning constitutional and our host was very communicative. Awesome spot, have stayed before and will stay again in the future.

Great place to stay in the heart of Butte

This was a great place to stay for a group- it was clean and had comfortable furniture and a smart tv to watch whatever you want via apps. Nice views since it's up on the hill. Only issue I had was that the number of beds listed on VRBO didn't match what was in the house. In the house there are two queen beds, one queen pullout couch and one twin pullout couch.. Even the pullout couches are comfortable so it was all good!

There were only 2 beds in house. VRBO advertised 3 queen beds and 1 twin bed. Hide a bed in taxidermy room was not comfortable for person who slept in there during our 3 night stay. Must say view was spectacular.

Home away from home...

This is a charming historic house in uptown Butte. Has been nicely restored and is very comfy. We needed a home away from home for the holidays as our house is torn apart right now. This fit our needs perfectly. Not crazy about the location but the views are amazing...Glad we have a 4-wheel drive truck to climb the steep ally and access off street parking. The host was very accommodating and pleasant to deal with.

Best view of Butte

Great old house. Very comfortable. We had a foul smell in the upstairs area. First night was really bad, but it gradually got better as the days went on. By day four it was gone. I communicate with management and they sent a person over to look at the problem. I think it will be taken care of. We definitely enjoyed our stay

Our overall stay at this house was pretty good.

The property is a little difficult to get to in the winter on snowy/icy hilly roads. The entry to the house had a large amount of ice on the concrete by the door and just about all members of my family almost fell. It was SLICK! Luckily as our weekend went on and the temp warmed up we were able to shovel the majority away from the door to help prevent anymore possible spills. Having ice melt nearby would have been nice. The property itself has awesome views and is a nice historic style home. We didn’t have any other issues and I realize a large part of the issue was more weather related and can’t always be avoided but I felt a warning for other visitors was warranted if anyone else has a winter stay.

We loved it!

Very nice, very clean place in a quiet neighborhood close to many attractions. The house was spotless when we arrived and easily accommodated the six people in our group. It's spacious and well equipped. Communication with the owner was great and we had an easy check in. The location is a little tricky to find depending on your GPS. Mine worked fine, but my dad had trouble with his. The house sits high on the hill overlooking Butte so the view is pretty nice. The roads around it are steep and would be a little tricky to go around the back if you have a vehicle with low ground clearance. Parking on the street out front would not be an issue though. There is construction going on behind the place but that didn't really affect our stay. Overall we had a great time, and we'll look to stay here again next time we're in town.

The location of the property puts you nearly in the heart of uptown Butte! So close to restaurants and shopping. Great walk ability if one enjoys a challenge as the house is on a hill, but that just made the view incredible!

A wonderfully unique place for this special family's gathering as well as the Local Irish Festival. Within walking distance to the mine yard and some uptown venues. The host, Robert, is a great communicator, answering all our questions.
