Beautiful apartment in Cannes in superb location

The Winter Palace is a beautifully decorated spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom luxury apartment in a magnificently restored 1880’s building. Located in a peaceful location on Avenue St Charles, the apartment is within easy walking distance of the beach and the Croisette, the Palais des Festivals, first rate shopping on the Rue d'Antibes and the city’s wonderful restaurants and night life.

The apartment sleeps 4 people in two large double bedrooms. The living room is beautifully furnished in a classi style and provides access to 2 balconies overlooking the gardens, each providing stunning views of the Estoril mountains and a glimpse of the sea. There is a flat screen TV, Blue Ray DVD, free internet access together with an air conditioning/heating system.

You can now also book securely online by using your credit card to complete the transaction.

The apartment is decorated to the very highest standard throughout and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for the perfect holiday. The main bathroom features a large bath and there is a shower room with WC.

Whilst the apartment does not have its own dedicated parking space there is ample free parking in the streets adjacent to the property.

So many of our visitors have been impressed with the apartment and its location that we are now seeing 60% returning on an annual basis.

Cannes Lions Festival Home Base

Booked very last minute and I thought this apartment was too good to be true. That amount of space, location and price are very rare. Especially 2 weeks before the Cannes Lions festival. Home away from home in Cannes!

The stay at winter palace was excellent because it is located 10 minutes from Zamenhoff beach, which is a large public beach in a protected harbor. At the bottom of the hill is a frozen food store named Picard and they have a great assortment of entrees, side dishes, vegetables and desserts. Another grocery store is the Casino Market which was within walking distance. Use Google maps to locate the directions. We cooked many meals in the well appointed kitchen. Pots, pans, utensils, plates, cups, saucers. We were surprised to find olive oil, salt and pepper grinders and fine balsamic vinegar! Everything a person would need to host a great dinner party! The apartment is decorated like a fine French palace with large chandeliers and matching wall sconces. The closets contained many surprises like an iron and ironing board. Bamboo beach pads for laying on the beach, an umbrella. a fish net for beach fun a Pail and shovel for building sand castles. The washing machine was essential as we packed light and had to wash clothes often. In Paris we did laundry at a laundromat and it cost $70 to do about 4 loads of wash. The free wifi was great! The air conditioning was good to have on hot days. The old fashioned elevator was a blast to use! Standing on the balconies was a treat, especially in the mornings when you could see the wild green parrots with long tails flying around in flocks. So cool! We are hoping to return someday! Select this location - you won’t be disappointed!

Winter Palace

-Accueil minimal fait par la personne qui fait le ménage.Aucune instructions fournies -Pas d’ascenseur au niveau de la rue, seulement au premier pallier -Entrée vétuste qui a besoin d’être rénovée et entretenue -Bel appartement mais nullement rénové: Plomberie d’une salle de bain déficiente(que le Gestionnaire a fait réparer 2 semaines avant Notre départ) et douche qui fonctionne mal dans la 2ème salle de bain et qui, selon le plombier aurait besoin d’être changée au complet -siège de toilette de la salle principale brisé et à du être changé (aussi fait 2 semaines avant notre départ) -Pas d’abonnement pour la TV et trop petite et trop ancienne TV(mauvaise résolution) -Disjoncteurs sautaient souvent dans le living -Deuxième chambre trop petite pour accueillir un un autre couple en visite et cuisine trop petite pour cuisiner pendant 3 mois -La propreté dans les armoires de cuisine ainsi que la vaisselle et les marmites n’étaient pas propres.Le gestionnaire nous a envoyé la dame d’entretien pour remédier à ce problème et m’a fourni le service de changement de draps aux 2 semaines comme compensation -Contrairement à l’annonce, il était presqu’impossible de trouver du stationnement, heureusement que nous n’en avions besoin que pour nos visiteurs! -N’ayant pas le contrôle pour ouvrir la porte du building, il fallait d -L’appartement pourrait être très bien s’il était rénové et offrir plus de confort pour des longs séjours -

Nous avons passé 14 jours dans ce bel appartement au 3ieme étage, spacieux et décoré avec goût, propre et tranquille. Vue mer et sur la colline Le Suquet. Quartier tranquille et stationnement possible gratuit sur les rues avoisinantes. Tout près du supermarché Casino ouvert 7jours de 6am- minuit. Nous recommandons fortement cette location et espérons y revenir. Merci Rod

Spectacular

Very nice apartment, 7minutes walking from the beach, 3 minutes walking from the Rue des Antibes with all the shops, 10 minutes walking from the Palais des Festivals. I will definitely book it again whenevere I come back to Cannes.

Belle Epoch on the French Riviera

This was a lovely, large apartment with sea breezes throughout the day in a beautiful old building just outside the busiest part of Cannes. Easy to get anywhere in town and close to a wonderful boulangerie and shopping. We hiked the hills behind the house where there is a lot of history and beauty. If you’re going to explore the coast - try the train, as traffic can be heavy. Grasse and Saint-Paul-de-Vence are within an hours drive and worth the trip. Rod is a wonderful host who was available for any questions. We highly recommend!

Flawless property in Cannes

We stayed in the apartment for 3 nights together with another couple. The apartment is flawless in every respect even comparing it with luxury hotels around.The apartment has two lovely bedrooms and a living room/dining room where you would like to have time to organize a dinner for friends, with all the necessary plates and glasses for 12 people and a movie set up. The kitchen is charming and very well equipped. The cleanliness is impeccable, the positioning is perfect, 2 blocks from Martinez Cannes and the promenade. Rod, Vilma and Paul were very easy to contact and responded immediately so check in and check out was very smooth. We felt like coming home and we will definitely return there when in Cannes. I congratulate them all for managing so well such a wonderful property!

The most beautiful apartment in Cannes, through VRBO

A wonderful location; close to the beach, the shops, and all the best restaurants. The apartment is presented exactly as in the photos and description. It is both very spacious and decorated in the classic French decor. Everything you could need for a dinner party of 12 is there in impeccable taste. Also, very close to one of the best supermarkets in southern Europe, where you could do one stop shopping if you choose not to go to the local markets.

Stay in Lovely Cannes Apartment

Myself and 3 friends has a lovely few days at the apartment in Cannes. The property was a situated perfectly, very close to high streets, shops, restaurants and most importantly the beach which was no more than a 10 minute walk where we spent a lovely few days sunbathing. Despite being so close the the centre of Cannes the location of the apartment was quiet which meant you had the convenience of attractions but not the noise pollution. The actual apartment was spotless and included everything we needed for our stay. The rooms were large and beds very comfortable. Our first night we managed to go to a local market and buy a Seabass which we cooked in the apartment where we ate in the grand living room. Overall location, cleanliness, size,furnishings (and company) of the apartment were top class. Would recommend to anyone visiting Cannes.

Beautiful apartment with everything you need for a great holiday in Cannes. We were a group of 4 girl friends staying for a long weekend. Ideally located, in walking distance of the beach, shops, bars and restaurants. Two south facing balconies are great for an evening drink with a view! We would highly recommend a stay at winter palace

Bright, beautiful apartment in a great location

Brilliantly located property away from the hustle bustle, but an easy walk to the seafront/ town (bus at the end of the road if you feel walking is to much on holiday or to venture to neighbouring towns). Beautiful interior with a spacious, light, highly comfortable living area, great table for entertaining should you want to pop to the market and cook a feast, supermarket and bakery just around the corner. Lovely south facing balconies to enjoy a glass of wine on return from a hard day on the beach. Bed was super comfy and everything was clean and fresh. Kitchen had everything you would need and hmmm a jacuzzi bath!!!! All in all can't complain about anything, great location, lovely building, stunning apartment. Will hopefully return in the not to distant future.

Great apartment with all the amenities.

This is my 3rd year in a row staying in this apartment. It's well appointed, has every amenity, and is always spotless upon arrival. The location is ideal because it's tucked away from the noise and hustle bustle of the main streets, yet less than a 5 minute walk to everything you need.
