Lemon Bay Motel

"This Motel was wonderful, perfect room, nice sized fridge, very nice big shower. The room was nice, cold and clean. Love that you have windows to open. The owners were so kind. Our neighbors were very nice, nobody bothers you. It was nice not having housekeeping bothering you, or waiting to go in your room. If we needed anything a guy was on site to help if we needed more towels or trash bags and he was very nice to talk to. We were able to just enjoy our stay and it was awesome . I can't remember staying in a place that just felt so comfortable but this one is definitely the spot for us so far. It's quite and very close to everything. I honestly was surprised with it being on a main road that the traffic would be bad or you were hear loud music from cars but none of that happened. We honestly didn't want to leave. Parking was perfect, we have a very big truck and we were able to park right by our room. They also have An area to park your boat or trailer. Love the cameras, it makes you feel safe. 711 is right next door and Walmart is right down the street. They have awesome TV channels, it was like being at home, we didn't miss anything:) We stayed 4 days and the price wasn't too bad considering it's not far from the beaches. We highly recommend Lemon Bay Motel. I think next time I'll bring my blower though so I can get rid of the sand mess I made in the parking lot. I felt so bad. Also love the blinds. No light gets through"

"Without a doubt, the best place—very spacious and in an excellent location. You have the beach right out front, and Gasparilla Beach—which is very beautiful—is just 25 minutes away. Communication with the owner was excellent, the sunsets were fantastic, and the terrace overlooking the bay—with the breeze blowing—was a delight. We will definitely be back!"

"Overall, we enjoyed our visit. But there are definitely some ‘pros and cons’ to where we stayed, as we’ve been to Florida multiple times throughout the years. The ‘Pros’ are, great location, where everything is within 10 minutes or less for your needs. Very spacious house with all the amenities, love the sheltered atrium with the radio and tables to get out of the sun near the pool. Nice large kitchen with updated appliances. The beds were extremely comfortable, and with three bathrooms were nice to have. And given we visited Florida during a very hot time of the year, the house stays amazingly cool.The ‘cons’ are, that some of the cleanliness standards were not up to par, with dirty handprints on doors, the air fryer we used was dirty from previous usage, the pool toys were dirty and tattered, and could be replaced. Two of the box fans that we used, were dirty with loads of dust and dirt on the screens that could be cleaned. Also, the pool is approximately just barely over 5 feet and not close to 6 feet in depth.Overall, overall, Katherine (Owner) was responsive to any inquiries we had and we’re very appreciative during our visit to stay here. We do recommend this rental to others in the future and Englewood was great."

"My daughter and I really enjoyed ourselves. The bed was sooo comfortable after a long day on the beach. The place was absolutely spotless!! The host Heather was so welcoming and immediately called me when I had an issue with the lock ( my issue not the lock) We will definitely be back!"
