"We loved our time in Charlevoix. This big beautiful house was a good fit for our large family group, ages 1 thru 71.Pros - location is fantastic: fun beach access, beautiful views from the porch, and an easy walk to downtown. Plenty of bathrooms, and most bedrooms with queen-sized beds, which can be hard to find. We had a couple of maintenance issues that the host resolved right away, which was much appreciated. Cons - lots of small rooms, so no easy place for the whole group to gather together for meals, etc. The house is old and has its quirks, and shows some wear and tear inside. The listing says “air conditioned,” so we were surprised to find it in only 1 room (one of the 2 small kitchens) with a window unit. Luckily, the weather was not overly hot and there were fans, but a bit misleading.Overall, it’s a great old house, with a lot of history and character, in a terrific location. Would return. "

"Older property that has been revived. Rooms updated and redesigned well with character.and class. Supplied room well with towels, coffee, tea, creamers. Efficient and easy check via text . Reached out daily for any needs. Had 2 areas with fire pits plus other places to sit outside. Great view of lake. Surrounding towns very beautiful, clean. Variety of things to do "
