Great trip with some friends, enjoyed snowboarding on a nice weekend. Do NOT miss out on joeys pancake house for breakfast, worth the wait!Beautiful location smack in the center of everything but up the mountain enough that it’s quiet! Can’t wait to come back!
We love this cabin. This is the 3rd time we have stayed here. It is great location to everything and is very clean. Nice for the kids to play outside. Very great price.
We absolutely loved the cabin, inside and out. Perfect for our family trip! And Leslie the manager was amazing to work with, 10/10 would stay here again!
Liked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, communication
The cabin was clean, easy to find, quiet, well stocked and comfortable. The owner was easy to contact. I would recommend this cabin to friends or family.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, our children didn’t want to leave! The playground, mountain view, cabin, creek, and the mountain dogs made for a great weekend! Leslie is very personable and provides a plethora of information about the area. So close to everything in Maggie Valley, we went to tube world and had a blast!
Wonderful stay here at the Creekside Lodge! Quiet house-safe and clean. Sleeping arrangements were just as listed, the kitchen was well stocked with all needed cooking utensils and the location was far enough from the valley to get some mountain quiet but also close enough for a quick 3 minute drive. My wife and three kids all loved it and we will definitely return.
This was a great home. Half of our group went snowboarding, which was just 15 minutes away, and grandma and the littles stayed at the cabin. The playground was perfect for them. The cabin was clean, comfortable, well stocked, and had beautiful views.
We were pulling a 20' trailer and we did get it in and out but it was not easy. A half mile of the road in to the cabin is one lane. The driveway is sloped and very tight at both ends. Other than that everything was good.
Cabin was nice and roomy inside. Everything was clean and well maintained. It's in a great spot in Maggie Valley, close to Asheville and Great Smokey Mountain NP. There was some noise from neighborhood dogs in the evening, and you can see the neighbor's trailer in the back yard, so it might not be the best fit if you're looking for solitude. Nice fire pit in the back with a playground and tetherball for kids.
Very nice home. A well furnished and clean house. We loved the location. We ride motorcycles and you can’t beat being on our favorite ride hands down from Water rock knob to Pisgah Inn. From the house we were on the BRP in 10 minutes!
The house didn’t disappoint. Very nice, firm mattress and good furniture. We had a great time and was sad to leave.
Great place to stay for skiing at cataloochee. Everything was well stocked and beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Maggie valley!
Our only complaint is a window sash needs to be replaced in the dining room so the window can be locked properly. It was letting cold air in because of the bad fit. Otherwise a lovely, well priced little cabin with a nice yard and sounds of the rushing creek to enjoy.
Enjoyed our stay, came to Maggie Valley for a motorcycle ride and aThunder Sunday service at Lake Junaluska Baptist Church. Driveway a little sloped for motorcycles but ok. Couldn’t get fireplace on and recliner is getting pretty old. Otherwise stay was good!!!
We stayed here for spring break. The cabin was perfect. Had everything we needed. Super clean and cozy. Right in the valley with mountains all around. You get a view of the mountains sitting on the deck and even out the window while doing dishes! Close enough for a quick trip to town but far enough away from the noise for a peaceful stay. We even saw elk three times while driving to and from town. We came to hike and chase waterfalls. The location in Maggie Valley was perfect. So many nearby waterfalls! Close to the Cherokee entrance of the Park and also close to Pisgah National Forest, Blue Ridge Parkway and so much else! Would definitely stay here again.
