Morning Star Cottage

  • Encantadora casa de campo situada en el corazón de Clayton Ny, en las mil islas. Elegido como uno de los pequeños pueblos más modernos en América del Norte, la casa está abierta para su placer de vacaciones.

    A una cuadra de la majestuosa río ya poca distancia de San Lorenzo del Museo de barcos antiguos. Hay muchas tiendas, restaurantes y marinas para elegir. Por cierto, Clayton se encuentra entre escénica del Cabo Vicente y Alexandria Bay.

    Si se cansa de ir de compras, la pesca es grande como bien--, situado cerca de la cala francesa y Frink parque donde se puede pescar desde la pared o llevar su barco y utilizar la rampa por el Museo de barcos antiguos. ¿Por qué no ver un espectáculo en el teatro de la ópera Clayton mientras estás en Clayton.

Charming small house, nicely and completely stocked with everything we needed. Clean and comfy. Walking distance to all things downtown: food, coffee, beautiful water views and walks, parks, museum's. Safe and friendly neighborhood. Available host, responsive and available. Wonderful visit.

Morning Star Cottage is absolutely delightful! Our host, Kathy, has a great eye for detail and anticipated our every need. The lodgings were spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable, not to mention beautifully decorated. The location was perfect. We had an easy and picturesque walk to town from Alexandria Street. Kathy provided us with plenty of information regarding local eateries and attractions. She is an outstanding host who is responsive and always available to chat, yet unobtrusive. We truly enjoyed our stay at Morning Star Cottage and definitely will be back.

This is a gem of a property. Conveniently located in Clayton. So easy to walk to the waterfront area. The host is a wealth of information and very kindly gave us excellent recommendations for our stay. The weather was not hot enough for us to need the air conditioners as we were happy to leave the windows open and use the ceiling fans to keep us comfortable.

great little place to stay close to town and a block away from boat launch. Plenty of room for 2 trucks with bass boats.

Great place to stay

Good location for a stay in Clayton NY. Stayed there from a week of fishing and it is conveniently located walking distance from the municipal boat ramp that has no parking. The host was awesome and made the stay very enjoyable. Will stay there again.

Lovely cottage experience!

Morningstar Cottage is a lovely little spot both near the water and Clayton shops. It was very clean, comfortable and welcoming - would definitely stay there again!

Excellent stay

Wonderful location, great place, fantastic host. You can walk to all of Clayton’s major attractions and Alexandria Bay is a short drive away. Everything was amazing! We’ll keep coming back.

Everything you need in a quiet friendly neighborhood.

This quaint and welcoming cottage, comfortably situated within easy reach of Clayton's attractions, boasts two bedrooms, laundry facilities, a living room, a kitchen, and a charming porch. My stay here was truly delightful.

Perfect Vacation Cottage

This is the second time I have stayed at Morning Star Cottage and it was perfect for my needs. Very clean and spacious. It is close to the town dock, so very convenient for boaters.

Excellent and location location

Wonderful cute cottage and even better location. Walking distance to so much in Clayton and short drive to Alexandria Bay. Clean and well stocked. Would stay again.

Great location great little house

Not on the water but you can see the bay from the front yard Everything in downtown is a nice short walk.Great visit, the coffee shop(Lyric) is right down the street.Great little house, the owner was very easy to deal with

Fishing trip

Wonderful host, great view, fabulous location for our 2 day fishing trip. Clean with all amenities and pet friendly very important for us! Loved this house & definitely recommend

Sweet cottage in a fantastic location. Kathy (host) was very responsive any time we reached out. We appreciated the cleaning lady coming halfway through our stay as well. Recommend!

Clayton Cottage Charm

Morning Star Cottage was just what we needed for a long term stay. I have to say that the bathtub was wonderful! The location is perfect being an easy walk to the Antique Wooden Boat Museum and downtown Clayton. Our host was attentive to just the right degree. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice sunny cottage with deck & plenty of space & supplies. 5 minute walk to a lovely downtown with boardwalk. Would go again! Thank you.
