"Everyone, 4 adults, grand daughter, pet, really liked the set-up and convenience to the beach and ocean parks. Was also very surprised to find the brand new little "village" with a great restaurant close by. Outstanding!Check-In and Check-Out processes were the easiest and smoothest we've had at any prior rental property. All the info, procedures and "things to do" checklist were super helpful.The kitchen facilities were nicely organized and stocked with all you'll need to get settled.A great time and hope to do it again!"

"This is a super clean little house with a lot of charm. The kitchen is well-stocked with all of the cookware and supplies one would need, the bedrooms are nicely kept and we love the deck and dock. Second time staying here and we are already looking at our calendar for next time. We so appreciate that we can bring by our dog with us too. The neighborhood is extremely walkable, with quick access to the interpretive center. The tides have reclaimed the beach access that was nearby but that didn’t take away much from our time there. The beaches are great and quick to drive to. "
"This was one of the most well appointed vacation rentals I've ever stayed at. You can tell the host went out of their way to think of the little things (spices, tissues, soaps, conditioner, beach chairs, cooler). I would definitely recommend. The only issue, due to no fault of the owner, was that they closed the nearest beach access (bay side) earlier this year due safety issues and severe erosion. So, you have no choice but to break the law - not saying we did, but it can be done ;) - OR drive to beach access a few miles down the road which really isn't a huge deal - just not what we were expecting from the description. Museum is literally steps away and has a lot of interesting information about the area and how it was developed. "

"The photos are great but this little gem is even better in person! The house is immaculate and has all the comforts of home including a very well stocked kitchen with everything that you will need to cook meals (if that's what you chose to do!). We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend! "
"Great location, the house was roomy and very comfortable. It was clean and we loved our weekend. The only downfall was that I always read the amenities and it said they had a hair dryer so I didn’t bring mine. There was no hair dryer so I contacted the host immediately and was told they would get me one. I never got it so I had to go buy one. Doesn’t sound like a big deal but if you have hair like mine and have to blow dry it, it’s a big deal. All in all, the experience was great. "

"Toilet paper hanger in hallway bathroom was broken. The description stated a king suze bed in the master bedroom it was only a queen size. Better instructions on the garage door control. Dirty socks found in love seat console. There was a mop but no mop bucket. Other than that the place was great."
"What a beautiful home!!! My husband, daughter, son-in-law and grandkids had such a great time. We especially enjoyed the garage games, firepit, kayaking and the well-appointed kitchen. "
"Very impressed! It was clean, had all the essentials and was perfect for us! It was 8-10 mins from “downtown” but that was totally fine with us. The beach within walking distance was all blocked off and now marked as private property, but a 7 min drive took us to a great beach that had minimal people, unlike the main one by town. Washing machine is really loud, so just don’t run while the kids are asleep! Hot tub and grill was super nice to have. Overall it was wonderful and would stay here again when in Ocean Shores. "

"Great spot. Really clean and had everything we needed for a family of 5 for 3 nights. It’s about 10 minutes away from the main drag of hotels - and we were grateful. Super peaceful, deer everywhere. The hosts were awesome - and made sure to check in - although we didn’t need anything. Definitely don’t hesitate to book. Wife and I were comfy, kids were comfy. All in all - super great. Cool view from the second floor balcony deck too. Just FYI - there were some reviews that said it was close (walking distance) to the beach. Which is TRUE, however, all the beach areas/properties close by are private. This didn’t bother us, as we drove to nearby beach access only a few minutes away - but we did expect that we could walk to the beach from the house. Don’t hesitate to stay here though - it was great! Thank you for an awesome stay!"
"We really enjoyed our stay here. There is plenty of room and it was really clean. The kitchen has most things you will need. It is up two full flights of stairs (as advertised), but it wasn't a problem for us. There is a large garage that is nice to have. I can't wait to stay here again in the future."

I realize its not the fault of the owner, but a notification would have been nice since we chose the house due to its location. Overall, we had a great time. The cleaners did a great job cleaning prior to our arrival! "
