Everything is original from around 150 years ago. The room we stayed in was gorgeous! And the mattress was so comfortable! The little town is full of history. Absolutely perfect place to stay if you’re a hiker, 4 x 4 adventurer or 2 old ladies. I would say it’s the favorite place that we’ve ever stayed in all of our very long lives. ……

“The host was unfriendly and unwelcoming. We arrived at 9:30pm and were in communication about our arrival time, but when we arrived the host said she had to go to work early in the morning and made us feel bad for arriving at that time of night. They charged a $25 pet fee for our dog, which normally would be completely fine and understandable, and it was listed in the booking. However, the host’s dog (a very large German Shepherd) jumped on me, urinated on my car, and was off leash in the front……
