“The lobby and staff at front desk were very nice. The hotel itself is a different story. The elevators needed attention (flooring missing) and when we arrived on our floor there was no air conditioning and trash and bleach spots on the carpets (not to mention a random latex glove on the floor as well). The room had air conditioning and was cool but the couch had food on it from previous guests. It says renovated, but it was clearly the lobby only. My husband and I and decided not to stay and……

“We traveled up 7 hours to attend a family members funeral. The beds were very uncomfortable- hard as a rock. I called the front desk to request a softer bed and was told every single bed is the same. We went to the funeral at 10:30. It was decided that because we did not sleep we would drive home and not stay the second night. I spoke with Expedia and the manager at the Hampton Inn and neither would offer any resolution as far as a refund for the second night. We won’t stay at another Hampton……

“In general the hotel is very good. The only place I didn’t like was the swimming pool. Excellent service and breakfast. The room was clean, the location perfect near to the restaurants and place to shopping.”
