“The staff are always welcoming from day one. We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and found it a very enjoyable experience. There has been the odd little glitch but rectified right away. The only one problem we found that if you don't want to use your car and want to use the bus service you have to walk into barnsley interchange to go anywhere its a 20 minute walk across a very busy roundabout and road. The rooms are always very clean and tidy but still an excellent place to stay. ”

“The disabled facilities in the room were perfect it's ashame that outside wasn't a bit safer ..broken slabs and uneven walkway to the building not ideal.”

“Arrived to a warm welcome, supplied with all information required and reassured there was 24 hour cover should it be needed. The room was spotless, comfortable and had everything required. We were able to alter the heating to suit ourselves, making our stay very comfortable. The ensuite had ample big fluffy towels and luxury toiletries. We even had a yellow rubber duck. Breakfast was great...a substantial menu but happily did just scrambled for myself and baked beans for my husband. Also……

“Check in was easy & we were shown our room & where everything was. We were asked what we wanted for breakfast & what time. The breakfast was very good & prompt including toast & either tea or coffee. The location is very central & within walking distance & has a car park which made things easier. The only downside which was beyond their control was the 17 weeks of roadworks nearby which confused the sat nav. Definitely would use again. “Last minute choice for us but a good one. Lots of dog friendly space outside the hotel in the gardens which, whilst somewhat neglected were still enjoyable and full of wildlife. Hotel itself was slightly dated and could do with a lick of paint or two but overall was in good condition and the evening receptionist and breakfast staff were top notch. Earlier in the evening we had walked out of a hotel we had booked and paid for as it transpired to be dismal but this place was an excellent last……

“Excellent value for money. The hotel has recently been refurbished and feels fresh and modern throughout. Our room was spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the staff were warm and welcoming. We stayed here while attending a concert at the Utilita Arena Sheffield, and the location was perfect. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay again.”
