“The hotel is very clean and modern. Our room had a nice view. It's very close to the Aquashow. We were travelling as a group of 3, two adult friends and a ten-year-old child. The 3rd bed in our room was a flop-out chair bed, very unsuitable. This was replaced with a camp bed on wheels, which was, needless to say, also very uncomfortable and unsuitable for an adult. We were allowed to stay on site for the remainder of the day following check out. ”

“Tout était parfait. Chambre très confortable. Le personnel était extrêmement courtois et chaleureux à la fois, surtout au resto italien Lina où nous avons pris le dîner 4 soirs d'affilée. La nourriture y était succulente! Personnel le matin au petit déjeuner très courtois aussi ainsi qu'à l'open deck ! On a adoré cet hôtel!”

“Belmar was beautiful! It was the last stay on our trip and we enjoyed the splurge. The pool and spa facilities were really nice. Really liked our massages and the staff was friendly. The drinks and bites we got at the bar were also delicious. ”

“Incredible hotel! Super modern and well designed. No direct beach access but there is nearby. Staff very friendly and helpful. The food is good and the staff can help recommend local places to eat. Plenty of space to lie by the pools. Could be a few more loungers at the adult pool. Nice modern gym. Room was beautiful (had the cheapest type) and was always cleaned really well! Only downsides were that the room was not ready at check in time and the coffee is not great (if you care about that).……

“Travelled with a 3 year old, would 100% return to this same location. The staff were amazing, kids were accepted everywhere (except the indoor heated pool sadly, although understandably cause it's a spa). The kids playground was wonderful with daily activities, engaged and kind care staff during the day. I didn't leave her with them unsupervised by a parent, but apparently you can. Loved the facility, our villa was perfect. Only thing that would make this better would be if the peacocks could……

“The resort location is near to the train station. It is convenient and the environment is very comfortable. The resort is very good for relaxation. One thing is needed to improve is lack of staff to manager the swimming pool.”

“Lovely resort in a modern design and a unique spot close to the beach. We stayed in a partial view double room and had amazing views, and housekeeping left a small treat each night at the turn down service which was a really nice touch. The breakfast was really lovely and worth adding on. The pools could have been kept a little warmer (we were there in the last week of Apr). Staff are lovely and try very hard though bear in mind everything in Portugal is slower paced if you are coming from……
