“Great position as in the resort with wonderful views of the beach. We were fortunate as at the time the World frisbee championship were taking place, with over 2000 competitors making a great atmosphere. However we went in November and it rain and wind storms were so bad, most of the time we were stuck in the hotel with little to do. Thankfully we had a balcony where we spent most of our time reading books, when the storms allowed. The buffet restaurant was well stocked but the food quality……

“Stayed first two weeks of April and it was the perfect time to be in the Algarve. The Crowne Plaza exceeded all of our expectations. Room was clean, service and staff were on top of everything and helpful beyond! The outdoor pool was beautiful and the beach as close as we needed…. And it was lovely. The breakfast was very good and had many dishes to choose from. We only ate at the hotel for dinner a couple of times but when we did, the meal and service was excellent. Many other restaurants……

“We’ve just returned from a wonderful Easter stay at Domes Lake Algarve Autograph Collection Hotel and were genuinely impressed throughout. From arrival, the reception team — Francisco, Miguel, Francisca and Nadia — were warm, professional and welcoming. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, with all staff providing friendly, attentive service, in particular Mona and Margarida alongside a great selection of food.
