“Staff were all lovely and also excited to greet our toddler. Lodges were incredibly cozy, worth booking less so in the summer as heating options were available but no cooling options if it's a particularly hot season. Hot tub was great to relax in after day trips out or if with children and dropping them off at the soft play facility (look to book a time slot in advance). “Just what we needed for a weekend. Clean comfortable room. No sittng / lounge area as it is a pub! A bit noisy Saturday night, but we had been warned and ear plugs were provided. “We’re had a great room, with all the best amenities , clearly newly refurbished. Unfortunately the upstairs hallway was dark, dreary and old. And there is no lift, though the delightful manager was happy to carry bags up there. Food was good in the restaurant, too. Do be aware that this is not actually close to the airpor.”
