I stayed in one of the geodesic domes, which are behind the main lodge. There are 7 domes that share 3 bathrooms, which are in a different building. You receive a key upon check-in to unlock one of 3 doors to a private bath (sink, toilet, and shower). I was a little worried about having access to a bathroom given all 7 domes were rented during my stay and only 2 of the 3 bathrooms were usable...but never had to wait. The two things the bathrooms need are a mirror and additional wall hooks....

Desk staff was super friendly, breakfast was a nice touch, everything was clean and well maintained.

Fritz and Paula are awesome host, and the cabins are a great escape.

So cute. Easy check in. Great communication. Friendly staff. Lovely property amenities for customer use. Clean. Water and juice provided. Morning grab and go breakfast /coffee appreciated. Definitely recommend and will be back.

We were in town for one night. Very pleased with everything. Great place for the right price.

We live in a nearby mountain community and support local businesses and help them thrive amidst economic times. Great overnight location on the Arkansas River within close proximately/walking distance to restaurants and local shops. The pride of a local owner offering a nice boutique accommodation, located in historic oldtown Salida, with good food, friendly local staff, and an obvious effort to please it's patrons. This property, with all it's offerings, is a true slice of local pride and...

Special place and very quiet in the off season. My only complaint is the very poor wifi.

The room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. The shower was small, but not the end of the world. They had croissants for breakfast.

Beautiful location, near the Great Sand Dunes and wonderful star gazing. The staff were family and supportive. The tent we stayed in was wonderful. The shared bathrooms and were clean and the staff did an excellent job of attending to any consistent clean up. Campers should be prepared for cooler nights but overall a great experience.

Thank you for hosting us in Salida. This room was for a speaker and her dog that were attending the Outdoor Industry Summit. The place is nice and comfortable.

Exactly as described and desk personnel was delightful!!

Modern and clean facility. Nice well stocked breakfast buffet. Friendly and helpful staff. Was given lead on how to obtain solar eclipse eyeglasses which worked out. Convenient to restaurants. 30 miles from Great Sand Dunes National Park entrance, but that was not an issue.

Close to a great park and hot springs. Great price point

The hotel was well maintained and clean. The room was big, had a small fridge, microwave. The breakfast was very nice a lot of options and everything was fresh and plentiful. Will stay agin when we come back to town.

We were traveling through Colorado on motorcycles. Five miles before we arrived at Wolf Creek Ski Lodge, we got caught in a rain storm. When we pulled in (around 7:30), we were cold and wet. The owners told us to go get hot showers and then come back to the lobby. They made us a big pot of coffee and we enjoyed a wonderful evening visiting with them. In the morning they brought towels to wipe down the bikes. There's not much in the immediate area, but the hotel is a great place to stay...
