“During my stay, I went to the kitchen to order food and was met with incredibly rude and dismissive behavior from a female employee. She repeatedly rolled her eyes, appeared visibly annoyed, and treated me as though I was asking for free food rather than being a paying guest. She even stated, “Oh, I’m not feeling well,” before throwing a clipboard toward me instead of simply handing it to me. I felt extremely unwelcome and disrespected. “My stay at Mystic by Royalton in St. Lucia was extremely disappointing. The resort is below standards, has recently been bought out by Royalton and will be shutting down for demolishing starting August. Old and broken fixtures throughout, indicating a severe lack of maintenance. Walls were moldy and demonstrated water damage. The resort was filthy. The customer service was poor, with unprofessional staff who did not seem to care about guest satisfaction. The food was disgusting and barely……

“I truly enjoyed the cocoa tea served at breakfast, and most of the staff were warm, friendly, and courteous. When I checked in, they kindly explained how to get to Baywalk Shopping Mall and introduced the hotel’s facilities. Even when I was waiting for a taxi early in the morning at 5:00 a.m. on my departure day, they thoughtfully took the time to recommend beautiful beaches in Soufrière and a bakery well worth visiting.”

“Great vacation with excellent location, staff, activities and food. The rooms without air-conditioning were a bit uncomfortable at times during peak October heat indexes ranging up to 100 F during the day so consider aiming for a room with air conditioning if travelling during hot and humid months. Would recommend and will even try to return at some point!”
