“My stay at Mystic by Royalton in St. Lucia was extremely disappointing. The resort is below standards, has recently been bought out by Royalton and will be shutting down for demolishing starting August. Old and broken fixtures throughout, indicating a severe lack of maintenance. Walls were moldy and demonstrated water damage. The resort was filthy. The customer service was poor, with unprofessional staff who did not seem to care about guest satisfaction. The food was disgusting and barely……

“I truly enjoyed the cocoa tea served at breakfast, and most of the staff were warm, friendly, and courteous. When I checked in, they kindly explained how to get to Baywalk Shopping Mall and introduced the hotel’s facilities. Even when I was waiting for a taxi early in the morning at 5:00 a.m. on my departure day, they thoughtfully took the time to recommend beautiful beaches in Soufrière and a bakery well worth visiting.”

“This resort checks a lot of our boxes: quiet, adult only, beautiful grounds, lovely room, good bed, great beach, plenty of towels, comfortable beach chairs, reasonable food. The food is expensive, and there are tour boats that come into the beach all day every day. Most of them are fairly quiet but you do end up sharing the beach and sea with children. There are also sand flies and I got badly bitten - I am still suffering a week after returning home. The restaurant service is erratic - the wait……
