“The vent in shower was dirty, the sink tap was not attached to the sink, light in toilet flicked several time before coming on, light in main area wasn’t the best..electrical issues. The unit needs some maintenance.”

“Unfriendly staff at front desk, false advertising about the rooms, dirty rooms with cockroaches, no clean sheets on day 2, unmaintained property. Very disappointed”

“Nice to have a hotel as part of the property so you can walk there for dinner and drinks (great pizzas) Great bathroom lots of room. Pity about the view from our balcony (power station and power poles) since it’s called the outback resort. Carpets and curtains need a clean.”

“The property was amazing and helpful when our plans had to change due to not getting into the Mundi Mundi festival due to weather. It was also a good little spot with easy access to all that Broken Hill has to offer.”

“Well above the average motel in terms of decor and design. Full-size fridge, big comfy bed, 2x TVs, superb bathroom with excellent product, lots of fluffy towels and washers. Plus the staff were so friendly and accommodating to our needs. Recommended.”

“Nice and neat room to stay in, overall fairly tidy and the thick walls made for some nice peace and quiet. Staff would come to do housekeeping (e.g. making the bed) but it would've been nice if they could've replaced our towels as we had nowhere to dry them sufficiently. The bathroom was on the small side and had no fan to get rid of the condensation, so we had to open a window that lead to a random hallway behind all the rooms which did not have a privacy screen on it so not the most……

“First of all. On arrival mid afternoon the reception was locked. No clear sign of what to do. I phoned the number on the door and it didn’t work. Then phoned the number that said ‘emergency/after hours’. The gentleman who answered was helpful and efficient. But if left unattended, there should be clear instructions. Very basic accommodation. Bedroom had one bedside table only, no bedside lamps. There was an electric blanket but one side didn’t have a power outlet nearby. Room was tight and very……
