“A very unique place to stay in southern VT. I did love my view overlooking the river. I can imagine it's a great place to stay in the summer, especially as a group if you're looking for local lodging close to hiking etc. I was there end of May, just before the start of the summer season apparently, and it was all but abandoned which was disconcerting to me. I arrived on a day when the restaurant and bar were closed (monday) and no staff were present. The place has a code lock on the front door……

“Mother and daughter run this hotel. Both are super sweet. Upon entering the front desk area, you're welcomed by seeing a beautiful fish tank and fish pond. Parking was right by the door. A cute porch with chairs were by the room door. The bathroom and bedroom were both clean and inviting. The kitchen area gave a sense of home with a real coffee cup and a makeup remover wipe on the sink.
