Brilliant location, unfortunately Saturday night can get extremely loud with the on site restaurant playing live music until 12am, we never had handwash in the bathroom for the 4 days we were there but towels were replaced and the bins emptied, the bathroom did smell a bit and the shower head sat at a funny angle so you had to go flat against the wall to get a shower, it would have been nice to have 4 seats in the outside area but all in all the room was big, the selling point of this hotel is definitely location, staff were friendly

The property is well situated close to the main Bonn central station and also close to tram stops. The place was mainly clean just a few minor concerns in the bathroom with the shower curtains. The main issue was the lack of air conditioning in the room, but the staff was very accommodating and provided me with extra fans. The breakfast was more than I expected, provided both warm food and cold cuts with variety.

Friendly staff and good Hotel in nice location

I had a very pleasant stay at Domicil Hotel. The interior has the charme of a grand hotel from decades past, but everything worked well and was clean. I highly appreciated the real black-out-curtains. My room was facing the backyard, and I didn't hear anything throughout the night. Perfectly located near the central train station and inner city, it's only a few walking minutes to everything you might need. Best of all was the very friendly and helpful staff. I only had issues accessing the internet during peak hours in the evening when (I assume) many guests were using it. One day I stayed in and worked from my Hotel room and internet worked perfectly during the day. The room has a TV and a (empty) minibar. I was there during a cold wave with snow and the room was cozy warm.

I will avoid this hotel at all cost. My luggage and baby staff were taken out of the room after the check out hour although I spoke at reception and asked to have a late check out. The manager and staff at the hotel were very unprofessional.

Bizarre experience. Check-in took 45 minutes and required me to blunder alone around a dark, empty, dirty hotel looking for a room that didn't exist. Lights off, staircases leading nowhere, furniture upside down, dirty coffee cups on the tables, reception desk unstaffed, no heating in common areas. (The photos on this site seem to have been taken 10 years ago.) Eventually had to phone a Stuttgart number to get directed to a different building in which there was a single room with barely-functioning wifi, a dirty shower and a door onto the street that wasn't fully lockable. Also, I discovered by accident that my key also unlocked a room occupied by another guest. Would not recommend.

Old fashioned hotel but everything is refubrished, except the rugs, which are clean but occasionally you might find some stains that cannot be removed

I booked a queen room but was given a single. I was also charged twice for the stay and it was a hassle to get a refund. No compensation or apology was offered for the room being the wrong type. The room was noisy.

The room overlooks a rear court, from which people could look directly into our room. It was very quiet from street noise, but very noisy otherwise: one evening in a restaurant on the court a raucous crowd stayed until 1:30AM; setting-up for breakfast and early breakfast patrons sounded loudly into our room. On check-out day we had to leave early; a takeaway breakfast was promised, but not ready for us at the stated time; we had to wait 10 minutes for it. The wireless key fob to the room was difficult to use.

Room was not ready at check-in time 3pm. I was forced to wait till 6.20pm and it still was not ready. Receptionist was rude and unhelpful. I asked for refund, she refused. I came from 19 hours flight and needed my room to rest. At 7pm room still was not ready. I left and went to a different hotel. This hotel amenities were dirty all around. Terrible.
