"Hotel was sooooo nice. Very beautiful in rooms. Breakfast was amazing. The only thing that sucked about the stay was . The drug use and homeless people was hanging outside at the entrance of hotel . Smelled like piss and trash was all over the place, it actually looked like they live out front. It’s a shame we let this happen. the day we left . I looked back at the beautiful hotel and historic place. And all I see is an over run street full of people that do drugs and beg for money For there...

After arriving after midnight because of a car accident, the front desk person and security officer were very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure that we made it safely to the parking garage and back. "This was my 4th time at the Hampton Inn on Jefferson over 10 years, so I’ve been here a time or two. The positives: great breakfast, downstairs bar/extras selection, convenient to Yum Center/4th Street/convention center/interstate access, security was good. The not so positive: my room had a very stale smell which I hope was isolated to that room, and felt it could use a refresh/clean on carpet. The new $15/night to park was also unexpected on this trip. Bottom line, I would stay here again but...
