"Lovely hotel and surroundings, would happily visit again, especially got breakfast. The only let down is the gym is accessed via the pool, and overlooks the poolside which made for a not so relaxing swim with all the late teens coming and going. I think they must let non hotel guests use it aswell which let it down because of how loud they were jumping in and out the pool. "

"We had a junior suite overlooking the river which was nice enough, we thought the bathroom required an update. No towel heating rail, no underfloor heating so it was cold. Perhaps we were spoiled the year before as we stayed in The Hermitage suite which was superb, far preferred it however I expect more expensive. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed the swimming pool. The breakfast was excellent and the evening meal was good, however I think there could have been more choices in the main meals menu."

"My daughter and I had a lovely three-night stay in one of the one bedroom cottages. There were so many helpful small touches, like milk in the fridge and body wash in the shower, as well as fresh flowers. The property was clean and had everything we needed. Check-in was friendly.
