Enjoy Luxury for less ! Welcome to 'FarFarAway'. Fully updated beautiful, spacious and semi-secluded, mountain, log cabin. We just transformed our unfinished basement into a Game room which includes a pool table, wet bar, arcade, and infared sauna with an Additional bedroom and Bathroom. It is meticulously decorated to make you feel at home or if you need to do a little work there is WiFi. Fully-equipped kitchen for those of you who like to cook. Seasonal and year round mountain views. Triple private wood decks for your outdoor comfort including hot tub and personal deck off master. Great room with soaring wooden ceilings and fireplace on main level. Great place for kids to get away. This is in a secure gated community with a beautiful outdoor swimming pool open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, tennis courts, hiking and lake activities.

Located on Walnut Mountain, a private upscale gated community only three miles from historic downtown Ellijay and fifteen miles from beautiful and quaint downtown Blue Ridge. Both Ellijay and Blue Ridge have wonderful shopping and restaurants. Also located within half hour of Murphy, North Carolina and McCaysville, Tennessee. During the summer months enjoy all that gorgeous Lake Blue Ridge has to offer including swimming and boating. Whitewater rafting is near by as well. Visit other quaint towns such as Helen or Dahlonaga or hit the best discount shopping mall in Georgia located in Dawsonville, less then an hours drive. Come see the incredible foliage in the fall. It does not get better then this!

I would definitely stay here again. I do think some repair should be done, the outlet in the upstairs bathroom does not work. A few holes could be patched ect. That being said, the host was great and very responsive and we truly had a wonderful stay!!

Close to Ellijay and more!
Though less than 15 minutes from downtown Ellijay, this cabin whisks you far away! Located in a gated community with many amenities, it feels like you’re living in a treehouse. Birds and deer abound, and the hot tub was the perfect end to a day of hiking. Beds were very comfortable, and though we didn’t need them, the sauna, pool table, arcade & endless movies would have made for a great rainy day! We throughly enjoyed the views from all three balconies, as well as those from several local wineries. Ft. Mountain and Amicalola Fall State Parks are both close by. The owner was very responsive - we will be back!

Nice Cabin and Location, but Broken Amenities
We stayed at this cabin for 3 days last weekend. The cabin was nice and the location was great. The view was beautiful. However, several of the advertised amenities were broken and the owner does not check if the amenities are working between guests. Two of the big amenities that our family and kids were looking forward to using and never got to use since they were broken were the hot tub and the arcade. At first the owner was responsive to us contacting them about the problems, but then they quit responding partway through our stay. We had a nice vacation, but we were disappointed not to get to use some of the advertised amenities on our trip that were part of the reason we picked this cabin.

We really enjoyed this property! Listing was accurate, communication with owner was easy and the neighborhood was great! We had a herd of deer come every evening during dinner and even had a black bear grazing through one of the nights. Very peaceful and would gladly stay again!

I really wanted to leave a good review
The cabin was amazing! Almost exactly as listed! What they didn't bother telling us, is the entire mountain was eat up with COVID and everything the community normally offered was closed! Also a bag of my childrens medicine was accidentally left behind, and I'm expected to pay the cleaner, (after already paying cleaning fees)in order to get my kids medicine back! I even said I would and still haven't heard from the cleaner!! Just ridiculous

Spectacular!
My family & I had a wonderful stay for our yearly Georgia trip! This cabin has everything one would need & more. It is great for both children & adults. They also had movies galore, which is perfect for downtime. The only complaint I have is that the mattresses were a little on the hard side. It would not change our mind about staying here again because it was just an excellent place to stay. Highly recommend! I also would like to note the owners were so easy to talk with & get in contact with! Just simply amazing!!

We really enjoyed every second of our time at this cabin. The location was beautiful, private, relaxing and at the same time close enough to things you needed and wanted to do. We loved taking picnics to the stream and eating in the picnic area. Overall just a wonderful time

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! My teens loved the downstairs game room, pool table and hot tub! There was plenty of space and it was well stocked with movies, games and plenty to do! It also had a great stock of spices and oils for cooking. Could use a few more dishes and cups, but otherwise was great! The hot tub was great and we loved seeing wildlife in the back of the property! The beds were comfortable but very squeaky. Every turn made a noise, not a deal breaker but very noticeable. Overall, it was an amazing few days and the owner was great at communicating.

The property was as advertised. A little frustrating on arrival when code we were given to call went straight to voice mail. The nice gentleman in the guard station did help us though. Well stocked and the entertainment was fun- hot tub, pool table, video games. The king bed was very firm - like sleeping on a table- and the shower on that level had very little water pressure. We were only there for 2 nights so these things weren’t dealbreakers but they would have been for a longer stay.

2nd time stay and booked again
This was our second stay and we’ve already booked our third. We really like the 3 separate bedrooms with the extra twin bed area to accommodate all of us. But truly the 3 deck views along with all of the amenities (pool table, hot tub, sauna, grill, heater for the decks, fireplaces, and multiple tv’s with good WiFi) has made this cabin hit the top of my kids favorite cabin to visit. The fact that this cabin has 3 floors can be difficult for people if they have trouble with stairs. However, the upside is that each bedroom area is separated by floors giving some privacy. Also, there is a bedroom on the main floor for anyone that may need it.

Yet Another Great Stay
All...this is by far the most comfortable place to stay in Ellijay...cleanliness, amenities, linens, Hot tub, Fireplaces, game room...I could go on and on but you get the idea...fun for couple or family...deer in the mornings/afternoons (bring your corn)...Ft. Mountain State park is a short 30 minute drive from Ellijay and great for day hiking then return to the cabin and grill out...great Hosts who are great communicators...already looking forward to next visit...RBW

Beautiful cabin. Don’t forget your key fob. I kept forgetting so I’d have to hang out at the gate entrance for someone to let me in. I slept in the bed on the 3rd level it was so comfortable. The bottom level was really nice for the kids since it has the hot tub, dart board, pool table and arcade game plus a bed and bathroom. The outside was so peaceful. Overall we had a great time.
