“This hotel is in the process of being expanded. It has a natural springs pool and an amazing tree house in the back, along with covered seating. More features are being added which will make it amazing. That’s the good part. The structure is old and while ok, still needs some TLC. My room refrigerator leaked a little, and the window A/C unit temp adjustment was broken so it had to be turned off periodically when the room was frozen, and then turned back on when it was roasting. " ⸻ The hotel facilities are clean and comfortable. The lobby provides hot tea, iced water, and coffee throughout the day, which is a nice touch. The room was clean and well maintained, and the double-bed room actually has two large beds, which is more than sufficient for a family stay. However, the check-in process was poorly organized, which significantly affected our experience. We arrived at 11:00 a.m. and understood that check-in starts at 3:00 p.m., so we registered in advance and left our phone number after being told we would receive a call when the room was ready. We returned to the hotel around 2:00 p.m. and waited until 3:00 p.m., but no one contacted us. The check-in line kept getting longer, and only after asking did we find out that we had to line up again from the beginning. As a result, we didn’t receive our room key until around 4:00 p.m. Ironically, guests who arrived at 3:00 p.m. were checked in earlier than we were, even though we had registered at 11:00 a.m. This indicates poor front desk management. A simple number-based system—issuing numbers based on arrival time and calling them starting at 3:00 p.m.—would easily solve this issue. Unfortunately, such a small operational problem greatly worsened the overall check-in experience."
