The unit we received was materially different from what was advertised. The biggest issue: no working air conditioning. Instead of a functioning A/C system, we were given a portable unit that was extremely loud and produced a strong, unpleasant odor (like fish / burning plastic), making it hard to breathe or sleep. “This is an excellent hotel in a prime location, just a short walk from the energy and activity of Coconut Grove. Overall, the stay was very enjoyable and the property met expectations in most respects. The only drawback was the lack of housekeeping during the stay. The room is cleaned before arrival and after departure, but no interim service is provided. For a week-long stay, this was a noticeable limitation. we would have appreciated fresh towels, basic cleaning, and a change of linens.”
