It is located about 1.5 hours south of Dallas and 2 hours north of Houston. As a guest at B2 ranch you will have the opportunity to explore, hike, bike, kayak, canoe, fish, observe wildlife, or just relax. Also, the lake cabin is the only guest accommodation on the ranch, making it a true get away. B2 Ranch lake cabin is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin overlooking a 3 acre spring fed lake. The newly furnished cabin includes a king size bed, a pullout sofa, refrigerator with small freezer, microwave, tv with dvd player (no cable or satellite), and coffee maker with coffee. Linens, towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner are also included. A fire pit with cooking grill is located just outside the cabin as well as a charcoal grill. It does not include a stove or oven. As part of your stay at B2 Ranch, you have access to 2 kayaks, a canoe and flat bottom boat along with paddles and life jackets. The lakes on the ranch are stocked with bass and open for fishing. When staying at B2 Ranch you are free to explore and roam the ranch. There are miles of roads and trails where you can see an abundance of wildlife. Guests have access to the 1600+ acre ranch for most of the year. From October through January guests access may be limited to 200 acres that is immediately around the lake and cabin. This place will make you question your life choices lol. The cabin was so nice, clean and perfect. Has everything you would need for a stay. The bedding was amazing. The covered outdoor area was perfect with a gas grill and table and chairs. Plenty of firewood on site.The site itself was absolutely breath taking. We had a clear sky and absolutely no light pollution. The pond/lake was smooth as glass except for small splashes from fish and turtles. The amount of stars was jaw dropping. It is very secluded and very private. Perfect cabin for a quick getaway for a couple. We found our perfect little getaway spot. We only stayed 1 night this time, but we’ll definitely be coming back in the near future for a weekend stay. I had to give a 1 star for the pool cuz there was no pool, so apologies for that…. But everything else was absolutely 5 star and highly recommend for a couple that wants to get away and have privacy and relaxation and get a mental reset. Everything was perfect and Joe make the whole process very smooth. I will highly recommend this place. My main purpose was to take photos of the night sky. This was the perfect location!
