She went over and above to help us with our inquiries re the local area, the local cemetery and the local council. We cant thank her enough. As well as helping me with my booking mistakes (on the internet) she was a mine of information re Scottish history and the area in general. To add to that, the breakfasts were great, taken in a very relaxing atmosphere and the staff there……

“Absolutely fantastic stay. West Plean is a beautiful property in a lovely rural location but only 10 minutes from Stirling City Centre. Our room was lovely, the bed was super comfortable, and we had everything we needed in the room, which was replenished each day. There was a lovely big lounge where we could sit and relax of an evening. The breakfasts were superb - lots of choice. Beautifully prepared and presented, and very tasty. Issues mainly around the following: numerous large dirty carpet stains throughout apartment; toiletries of previous guests in bathroom (including toothpaste, shower gel, deodorant and hair spray); cardboard and sticky tape used to secure pipes in bathroom; various damage to furnishing including hole in blind and faulty blinds which could not be pulled up; dirty stains on……
