"The view and the house were just as they appear. Really perfect for my family. The only problem we had was the pool was pretty hot in temperature and the hot tub was the same temperature and did not have jets. The pool also did not have a lot of lights. Otherwise wonderful house great location and amazing Hawaiian sunsets."

"We cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay! This home was truly the perfect place for our family during our time on the Big Island. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home.The house was beautiful, spacious, incredibly comfortable, and had everything we needed for our group. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, while still having great spaces to gather together as a family. Having the pool was an absolute bonus — after long days exploring the island, coming back to relax and swim was exactly what we needed.The location was also fantastic and made a great home base for all of our adventures around the island. We packed a lot into our trip, and it was so nice to come back each day to a peaceful, comfortable home rather than a hotel room.Everything was clean, well cared for, and thoughtfully set up for guests. You can tell a lot of care has gone into making this a place where families can truly relax and enjoy their vacation.Our time on the Big Island was such a special part of our Hawaii trip, and this home made it even more memorable. We were genuinely sad to leave! We would stay here again without hesitation and would recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing place to stay in Hawaii.Five stars absolutely does not feel like enough! "Our stay at Gingerhill Farm in Hawaii was a truly unique experience and the perfect retreat. If you're looking for something comfortable and memorable outside of the traditional resort stay, this is it. The outdoor shower and open-air kitchen were absolute highlights—they made us feel immersed in the beautiful surroundings while still having everything we needed. The property is filled with lush gardens, blooming ginger, and vibrant tropical plants that create a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. We also loved spotting the friendly geckos throughout the property, which added to the authentic island experience. A wonderful bonus was discovering the beautiful artwork by Mayumi Oda displayed throughout the property. Her vibrant, nature-inspired prints complemented the peaceful setting perfectly and added another layer of inspiration to our stay. If you appreciate nature, tranquility, and a one-of-a-kind place to stay, Gingerhill Farm is a wonderful choice!"

"The property is as described - beautiful ocean view - especially from kitchen and sun room. The Koa Wood used in the house is beautiful. Kitchen was easy to use and had everything needed to cook and serve meals. Everyone enjoyed the pool. The pull out sofa did not have bedding on it. We requested sheets several times, but none arrived.My son clean all of the filters in the ac units in the house, because none of them were working properly. After cleaning the filters we had adequate air flow. (management please stay on top of maintenance). Our group of 9 had a wonderful week on the Big Island."
