“We were given a room and two keys. Went to the room, opened the door and it was full of girls and mom's dressing for a wedding or something. Very uncomfortable for all, me and my 13 year old son included. And worse yet was the front desk attendant was rude, not apologetic and we had to carry all our luggage back up front from the back end of the hotel. We did get moved to a room with a better view, but still..... We also had a view of police raiding a homeless camp. That was interesting,……

“The worst VRBO I have stayed at. Worn out home with all kinds of issues. No privacy at all. Neighbors surround the outdoor hot tub area. House had cigarettes and bottle caps everywhere. Terrible beds and furniture. Broken bathtub, countertops,doors and blinds. Dirty hot tub I cleaned to be able to use. The owner is the worst. He charged me an additional 400 for an old cracked TV in a room we never used! Crooked owner and terrible house. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!”

“Beautiful views, lodge rooms are clean and comfortable, if not a little sterile feeling. All of the amenities (spa, pool, etc) are fine, nothing spectacular. This is not what I’d consider a wellness resort. It’s nearly impossible to eat fresh, healthy, good-tasting food, especially if you’re a vegetarian. I was really disappointed. Also note it’s about a two mile walk to the Garden of the Gods entrance, not too bad, but could be a surprise four miles round-trip for those not aware.”
