Please do not waste your money on this Inn. The room was in terrible condition. Aging falling apart decor. Dirty shower and bathroom area. Dirty indoor/outdoor carpeting. There is only 1 foot space between the side of the bed and the wall. We could not open the door to the bathroom all the way because it hit the bed. We had no room for 2 suitcases. There were wasps outside our window. There were spiders in the room. The pathway to the room was blocked by an overgrown tree. The room is so tiny, so the sound of the mini fridge was overwhelming. The shower only has hot water for one person and then you have to wait at least 30 min for hot water again. They never came to service our room or replace towels after the first night. The room was so dirty and terrible we demanded our money back and we had to fight them for it. They eventually gave us 2 nights money back and we went to a different hotel. But they made us pay full price for the 2 nights we stayed even though the room was dirty and tiny. Please do not waste your money here.

They have done away with coffee and snacks in the morning! If you turn the TV up loud enough to hear others complain, if you turn it down all you can hear is others talking. Paper thin walls...

The Orca Inn is a very old hotel with small rooms. But it's clean, the beds are comfortable, and our room with 2 beds had 2 bathrooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Conveniently located in a quiet area.

We wanted a quiet, clean, safe, and convenient place to stay while we explored San Juan Island, and this was exactly what we hoped for. It was only a few blocks from the ferry, and near grocery store and bakery. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. It is economical and family friendly! We can heartily recommend this property.

Great and affordable area, NOT walkable from the port if you have a suitcase, unless you’re good with an steady incline for 20 minutes. But it was easy to walk after checking in and touring the area.

Wonderful place to stay! Based on the price, I was expecting rooms to be much smaller. Our double queen room didn’t have a lot of extra space but it was well laid out with two bathrooms. We had plenty of space for 2 adults, 2 teens and all of our necessary items. Beds and pillows were great - we all slept well. This location worked well for us with ample parking and the grocery store next door. Friday Harbor is small and this hotel isn’t far from the main parts of town. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else, given the cost difference. It’s a really comfy little place if you’re not looking for something fancy. Looking forward to future visits!
