Recently renovated, this very spacious -bedroom apartment combines classic character with modern comfort. Furnished in contemporary décor, the apartment features a spacious inviting living space, a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy bedroom. One of its standout features is the private front veranda, perfect for outdoor dining and leisure, and the front lawned garden, offering a peaceful green retreat. This unique Apartment in Funchal offers a blend of style and serenity, a perfect haven with private secure parking, whilst being close to all the conveniences such as cafés, restaurants, bars, shops and the Plaza Shopping centre, all between 250 meters and 850 metres walking distance. The living room opens to the outdoor where you will find the outdoor dining area, 2 sun beds, a sun umbrella, and a portable barbecue, perfect for relaxing or enjoying an evening drink. The separate bedroom, with King-size bed, also overlooks this beautiful and well cared terrace and is complemented by a shower room. The large fully equipped kitchen includes a dining area and reading corner, perfect to relax while dinner is cooking. Vintage Garden Apartment is in the main hotel area of Funchal, and you can find all the facilities within a short walking distance. It’s the perfect spot to from which to explore Funchal and the island as it is perfectly located, with easy access to all means of transport. For those wishing to hire a car, there is private secure parking in the apartment grounds for 1 car. Please note that access is via a traditional narrow street, characteristic of Madeira, making it more suitable for smaller cars. The bus stop is by Avenida do Infante and 450 meters from the apartment. Taxis are very reasonable. This property is registered and has an Alojamento Local lodging license nº156408 /AL Nearby The Apartment is located in the main Hotel area, in a tranquil residential area. The Plaza Shopping centre with many shops and a large, branded supermarket is only 850 m away. Within easy walking distance there are plenty of cafés and restaurants, including the renowned patisserie “Confeitaria na Avenida” as well as a SPAR mini market and a gas station. Vintage Garden Apartment provides easy walking access to the whole of Funchal downtown and its many points of interest. The park Santa Catarina is a short 800 meters walking distance and the Municipal Gardens are only 1.2 km away, Funchal marina and seafront a 1.4 km walk. Palheiro Golf Course is only a 20 minute drive and the airport 30 minutes away. Cleaning The property is prepared for your arrival. For stays of longer than 7 nights, a change of linen and towels, and light mid-stay cleaning of bathrooms is provided on a day and time to be advised at check-in. All linen and towels are provided. For health reasons, linen for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own. Guests need to vacate the villa during a mid-stay clean and change of linen. Booking Notes The advertised prices are based on a 2-person occupancy. To secure your reservation we require a non-refundable deposit or the full amount if the reservation is made within 8 weeks prior to arrival. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival. A security deposit of 150€, payable by credit card before arrival The minimum stay is 05 nights. Final details for check-in and driving instructions will be sent 7 days before your arrival. The entrance code will be sent 2 days before your arrival. This property is a self check-in unit and check-in time is 16:00 or after. A code will be provided for access to the property. Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other reservations either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and your departure for check-out. It’s always confirmed on a request basis. A Tourist Tax is payable by all visitors to Madeira aged 13 or over, and costs 2€ per person per day up to a maximum of 14€ per person.
