"We had a great stay at the Hummingbird House! It was peaceful, quiet and a great place to unplug. There was convenient laundry on site and Tal and Audra were communicative and very kind and helpful. They even dropped off sweets for New Year’s Eve after asking if we had any dietary restrictions, which we do. Although the home feels secluded there is a grocery store as well as Petco only 15 minutes away. Downtown Grass Valley and Nevada City are fun to explore and also nearby! There is another...

"This was a little piece of heaven. We were in the area for a family members wedding. The house acted as a meeting spot for family to tuch basis and plan. It was nice and quiet, with beautifully lit pathways and ample outside areas to relax. The decorations in the home were done with care for detail. I highly recommend this place for a nice relaxing weekend getaway, or vacation rental. It won't disappoint. 👍😊"

"This is a perfect place to stay when visiting the Auburn, Grass Valley, Nevada City area for a long weekend.Small but cosy. Quiet, out-of-the way place in a pastoral setting . . . Hillsides; Oaks; Pines; Pond; Geese; Ducks; Boats; Kayaks; Views. Not a stay all day kind of place but nice to come back to after an out-and-about day.Host was gracious with welcome signs and clear use guidelines; Quarters were well maintained with nice kitchen and dining area. "This place was private, quiet, roomy and on a lovely property. It was centrally located in the heart of Apple Hill. I was able to come and go with no issues and I loved that they had a full kitchen I could utilize. It was a little off the beaten path but still close enough I could easily access restaurants and local shopping. The owners were such a delight and very kind. I would 100% stay there again and plan to in the future! "
