“We stayed in Hotel Encino for 2 week and came home yesterday and we didn’t want to leave! The staff were amazing and hard working. The hotel is in the heart of the city and the people. You can walk anywhere from the hotel. The pool and the restaurant upstairs was amazing as well. If you are looking for a fancy resort, this is not the place. This hotel has a nostalgic Mexican feel, no refrigerator or microwave, Just good vibes. Why do you need any of that when everyone around you is cooking all……

“The staff was amazing! Consider this place a home away from home! Maria, Antonio and Citlaly were amazing! Always assisted us in booking a taxi! Helped do research on places we wanted to visit, would offer us assistance on any and everything. Food was amazing! Views were gorgeous, you’re walking distance from water taxis. It’s about a 30-40 minute drive from zona romantica, which is where more of the city life is. So just be considerate of how much you’ll be paying in taxis roughly $25 usd one……

“The pools were gorgeous, and the view from our balcony was gorgeous. If you don’t mind a 10-15 minute walk, you could get to Centro or the Zona Dorada; if not, Ubers and taxis are plentiful. The beach was very rocky; when we wanted to go in the ocean, we walked south in the beach to better places.”

“Muy bonito todo pero me cobraron $2,000 de depósito diciendo que al final lo cancelan y no se te cargan a la tarjeta, si me hicieron el cargo y estuve hablando muchas veces con poca atención y solo aparecieron en mi cuenta $920 y dicen que ellos si hicieron la cancelación, entonces me cobraron $1,080 de la nada, me sorprendió ya que todo parece muy formal pero al parecer no es tan formal y no te resuelven nada.”

“This review gives me mixed feelings because I think the property is amazing. We had the “cave” room and it’s stunning. Open air villa, three floors, massive and very well decorated. The resort is well kept, lots of greenery and water features, wildlife etc. There’s one little restaurant and bar connected to the pool, but you’re 10-15 walking to the main area downtown. We really enjoyed everything but on our last night, someone or something opened our bedroom door and slammed it shut around……
