“Nice building in a residential area away from party life in Puerta Vallarta, but still super walkable. Almost no elevation change to head to the ocean. Lots of fresh produce, meat and fish within blocks. There is a super great variety of street food and restaurants in the neighbourhood as well. Super clean suite with modern plumbing and a/c. The plunge pool on the roof is a great way to cool off. I’d absolutely stay here again.”

“The Hacienda San Angel is a gorgeous property with amazing views and beautiful spaces including the rooms, courtyards and three stunning pools. The staff are lovely and so helpful. Our room was attended to multiple times per day with fresh towels and chocolates in abundance. Luis made sure our breakfasts were wonderful and gave us great travel tips to start each day. “The property is located in the Romance Zone of Puerto Vallarta and is a short walk to many restaurants, shops, galleries, and the naval museum. It is also within a couple of blocks of the beach. This Boutique Hotel is modern, quiet, and clean, with excellent staff. The restaurant was open to 2:00 PM each day and is great for breakfast and lunch.”

“The cave room is seriously something special. I don’t know the story but it must have been someone’s home years and years ago. You can tell they put a lot of thought and intention (and money!) into building this unique space. It’s the perfect little oasis nestled into the mountain. Sure the finishes are older and you're basically sleeping outside (lol) but once you’re used to the sounds at night, I always felt safe and slept like a baby! “Garlands del Rio is a charming boutique hotel. It is their people that stand out and keep people coming back. Martha, Rico and Ivan are all exceptional. The hotel itself is very nice, clean and convenient to everything in the Zona Romantica. We were there during the cartel violence and the hotel staff kept us safe and secure. They did their best under extremely difficult situations. We definitely will return and visit them again.”
