"Beautiful rustic style, walking distance to the beach. Close to many restaurants, Starbucks across the street, local vendors on the same street too. Great, clean spot. The hotel also has a restaurant. Second story has an outdoor shower to rid of sand from the beach. You can rent beach towels and borrow an umbrella in case it rains. Overall I was very happy with my room and loved taking pictures of every detail in the place. Very clean, staff was great and very polite."

"We enjoyed the proximity to town and to the airport. We also liked the variety of dining options, including the snack bar and the cevicheria. The facility was clean, the pools were great, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The room A/C worked well and the beds were relatively comfortable. We didn’t use the tennis courts but they looked great and are in excellent condition. We particularly liked the Italian à la carte restaurant. Our room was very clean but could use some upgrading/maintenance. We appreciated having a balcony to dry wet swimsuits. The beach is narrower than in Nuevo Vallarta but is sandy and there are loungers. Unfortunately there are no palm trees for shade, and beach umbrellas are only available for rent from 3rd party vendors. The beach drops off after a few feet and has a bit of an undertow, but the water is clean and we still enjoyed the waves. There are lots of umbrellas around the pool areas. We liked the whole experience overall and felt it was good value. I would suggest that the hotel advertise the evening entertainment more and put a clearer description in the guest program because it was quite good but not well-attended other than the Disney night. The cevicheria also could use more highlighting because it is a very nice feature of this hotel, and the tostadas were delicious. Special thanks to the omelette station staff, Guadalupe in the buffet, and to Daniel in the pool area, but all of the staff were great."

"This place is so beautiful and unique. It really felt very local and authentic. BUT, the reviews are all true about how steep the hills are. Me and my partner underestimated it, and even as regularly active people we struggled to walk up these hills. Be aware that Uber drivers will also be hesitant and slightly annoyed at not only the steepness, but also the many potholes. We also had a few issues in the room, our toliet leaked, the balcony door had an open crack, and there was a hole in the wall that allowed lizards in. The toliet and balcony door was resolved immediately, and we honestly didn’t mind anything else. It was a really beautiful property and we felt very safe and relaxed. Breakfast was very light but lovely. We really enjoyed our time here!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this property. The condo was comfortable, quiet, and in an excellent location. It was just a short walk to the beach and conveniently close to shopping, grocery stores, restaurants, and entertainment options, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer.The pool was very clean and well-maintained, and we especially appreciated how quiet the unit was. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well sound-proofed, which made for a relaxing and restful stay. The bath and shower in each bedroom were a major bonus!A few small additions and improvements could make an already enjoyable stay even better. The pillows were quite flat and could benefit from being replaced. We also would have appreciated having a coffee maker, an iron, and a hair dryer available in the unit. After a three-hour flight and a 30-minute drive from the airport, complimentary bottled water would have been a thoughtful welcome touch.The check-out procedures were somewhat unclear, and more detailed departure instructions would have been helpful. These were minor issues, however, and did not take away from an otherwise comfortable and enjoyable stay.Overall, this is a great place to stay, and we would happily stay here again."

"This property offers an amazing stay with an unbeatable location for experiencing the vibrant culture of Puerto Vallarta. You truly cannot get any closer to the action on the Malecón. From our vantage point, we enjoyed a prime view of the Mardi Gras parade right below us, watched the Voladores de Papantla (Indian Flyers) descend, and even watched fireworks launch right in front of us.Because of its central location, it is important to note that this is not a quiet retreat at night. However, the lively atmosphere didn't bother us at all, especially since we could still hear the soothing sound of the ocean waves. The views from both inside the suite and the balcony were absolutely spectacular. Furthermore, the owner was amazing—incredibly attentive and communicative from the day we booked until the very end of our stay. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to be in the heart of PV!"
