"This was the first time my husband & I stayed at The American Hotel, we've stayed at plenty of Hilton Hotels in the past. From the moment we parked our car with Valet to the moment we checked out we were pleasantly surprised with ALL the staff!! The American Hotel Atlanta Downtown is a very clean and nicely designed hotel. When we were looking for food after checking in, the front desk staff suggested we try the wings and fries at the restaurant inside the Hotel, which turned out to be a hit!! We choose this Hotel because it is walking distance to the State Farm Arena where we were attending an event. Walking there we noticed lots of things to do. I didn't get everyone's name but at some point I did interact with Renee who just happened to give me a card with her name. Thanks Renee and Team you guys were great and very helpful. "The hotel is very nice. I believe they could do more with cleaning the bathroom. I didn’t appreciate seeing Mold on the grout between bathroom tiles. Looks more like an oversight."

"This hotel was walks away from the state farm arena. Roof top cafe, bless your heart (is the name) was awesome. The food was great and the concierge (Velecia) was great!! You won't be disappointed. The hotel opened December 2025. I gave 4 stars for service because their were several miscommuncations regarding the cleaning services. The front desk did not inform the vendor that my room had a pickup for Laundry, albeit the clothes arrived back to the hotel on time. This hotel is definitely my go to spot when I return to Atlanta in the future."

"I stayed here five nights for two games at near by Mercedes Benz Stadium. The entire staff were incredibly friendly and professional. All the people working at the front in security, Samantha at the front desk, Lisa in Housekeeping and the ladies at breakfast really made my stay enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good too. I just wish they would mention in the Expedia listing about the $80 a night incidental hold for your stay. It’s listed at the check in counter and they did send me messages on Expedia but I never checked them until after I arrived. I was refunded a few days later as promised. I would definitely stay there again if I return to Atlanta. 👍"

"Staff at the Marriott was outstanding! One of the waiters at the high Velocity restaurant deserves honorable mention (Andrew) for making our stay extra special. Great heated pool, clean rooms and outstanding decor! The best part of this hotel was the location! It’s near everything you’d want to experience as a first timer in Atlanta! Had my daughter with me and this place was perfect for her!"
