Villas in Hanover

"This is one of the best Hilton’s have stayed. Literally near restaurants and shopping. Staff were so nice and accommodating. There is a spa in the hotel you have to book a day in advance. They have a 24 hour gym and a pool and hot tub. There is a restaurant in the hotel you can get food. The negative the pool is under 14 need parents with you anything else is fine. I booked for the pool. So many kids in the pool Sat and most of Sunday and teens. I couldn’t enjoy it nor did I try. I finally got to enjoy the pool area Sunday around 8:45 pm. The same two teens were in the gym around 14 years just doing stuff like sitting around and talking. We got in the pool they open the privacy curtain to be seen. We played them off. When that didn’t work they came in the pool area with their gym clothes no pool clothes just to get attention. One of which purposely walked to the hot tub were we were. They put get in and sat so we waited to see what would happen. She started to call her friend over to try to get a reaction. We decided to leave but we acted like we were ready to go. Soon as we started to leave they left. I really hope this establishment thinks about adult hours. Especially since there is a restaurant/bar inside. 6AM-8AM adult swim 18 on up and 8pm-10pm adult swim only 18 on up. Gym should be 16 on up out even 18 on up because kids or young teens could get hurt using equipment. Lobby hour"

"Air conditioner good. Bed creaked so badly we had to put the mattress on the floor to sleep. Flood lights shone through windows with difficulty drawing curtains and blinds inoperable. Bath clean and supplied. Furniture worn and needs repair. Hair dryer very old and weak. Noise from below invaded. Nice try for history but not worth the price. "

"1) Dodgy area. not sure I would walk the area at night. View from my room looked out on a graffiti covered building across a parking lot. Be prepared for ambulances and sirens blasting at least 2 or 3 times during the night. 2) rooms are all different, but my room was...less than optimal. The bed was was 9 feet from the door which opened directly into the main part of the room When I lay on my side, bright lights from the hallway shone through the cracks between the door and the frame. It was like staring at bright night light. It's always better when the door does not open directly into the main room, which shields the occupant from light and noise. 3) I did not care for the mattress. I am not a fan of memory foam, even it is only a topper. It's very hot to sleep on. Between the light from the door and the uncomfortable mattress, I did not have a good night's rest. 4) The hotel shuttle does not run often enough. We attended an event at the train station, and when we called the hotel for a pickup, they said they could not be there for an hour. We called an uber instead; I think the room was over-priced. I've stayed in nicer hotels for less. The lobby is impressive, but one doesn't sleep in the lobby. I probably would have given the experience 3 stars instead of 2 if the price were more reasonable. "Room was fine however our neighbor had 2 barking dogs at all hours. I had to go outside at 11:30pm and shout outside their door to shut those dogs up and I was not the only person standing outside because of this. I will never stay at a dog friendly place again. BTW we have a dog, we like dogs. Hotel has no way to enforce what they call quiet time. Room was nice - clean, handicapped bathroom, mic and frig. a/c. We left a day early due to noise at night and barking dogs. Never again with Motel 6 pet friendly! "
