Trail's End Mountain Cabin in Sautee - Lots of Room & Privacy!

Welcome to our trail's end cabin! The cabin provides the best of both worlds with the look and feel of a mountain cabin, yet it is complete with every modern amenity like wifi & smart TV. The house sits on over 1 1/2 acre of land that provides plenty of parking and privacy for larger groups

Our 3 bedroom/2 bath cabin is located 1 mile from Unicoi State Park and only 4 miles from Helen, GA. The national forest boundary is literally just outside the door and provides excellent views of wildlife. The cabin provides the best of both worlds with the look and feel of a mountain cabin, yet it is complete with every modern amenity like wifi & smart TV. The house sits on over 1 1/2 acre of land that provides plenty of parking and privacy for larger groups.

We have plenty of parking in the circular driveway for families with multiple cars. You will really enjoy the fire pit in the evenings located in the center of the driveway. It's the perfect place to sit at night and roast marshmallows. The wood burning fireplace in the living room is great on cold winter evenings as well.

The property adjoins the national forest and affords you the chance to get some great views of the local wildlife. Deer can frequently be seen from the screened in porch in the morning when you are starting your day with a cup of coffee. Bears also frequent the are quite regularly. It is recommended that you do not leave trash unsecured outside and that you keep the gates locked to the deck. The bears will stay away from people, but usually can't resist getting into unattended trash or food!

Quiet getaway
Trail's End was wonderful with plenty of space and quiet. We especially enjoyed the screened porch in the evenings listening to natures sounds. Scott, the host, was great when we had an unexpected situation. He addressed it and had it fixed as soon as possible. We would not hesitate to return to this cabin again. Thank you Scott, great job.

Lovely Getaway
The cabin was beautiful, spacious and smartly appointed with everything you would need. It sits nestled among trees and rhododendron adjacent to a national park. My 13 year old daughter loved it as much as I did and is begging to return. The deck and screened in porch provided spaces to breath in the fresh air. Our furbabies felt right at home and enjoyed walking the grounds. Scott, the property owner, is absolutely wonderful. Kind, thoughtful and responsive. This is an absolute must place to stay if you are planning to enjoy the area parks, trails and neighboring towns.

Family Winter Trip
Our experience at the cabin was great! It's secluded, yet only about a 5-7 min drive to Helen. Loved sitting on the porch in the mornings listening to the birds (and looking out to maybe catch a deer or bear wandering the woods, but no luck! haha) The fire-pit was a hit! I mean who doesn't love making s'mores! The cabin itself was very home-y and spacious for us (family of 7) and Scott was amazing! He was extremely helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Amazing Labor Day weekend getaway
Our experience at the cabin in Sautee Nacoochee was a memorable one. We wanted to cap off the summer with our kids by getaway and relaxing out in the woods/nature. Took in a few activities with zip lining, BBQ , fire pit (s’mores) and board games. We also did some shopping and dining out in the local town. We were very pleased with everything. Definitely will be back!

Family Vacation to Helen
The Cabin is very conveniently located and Scott is an attentive and flexible host. Some of the towels and sheets could have been cleaner and some of the curtains didn’t work, but overall we had a nice time. Wish we would’ve seen a bear!
