“I loved how fancy it was and how welcoming the staff was. However we left the hotel with bed bug bites all over us, which got worse of the next course of days. This was my first time experiencing bed bugs so it was a lot for my family & I was sadly disappointed Breakfast was not included with the stay so that was a bummer as well.”

“I went to the front desk to check in, but it turned out the hotel had no record of my reservation. I’m not sure where the mix-up occurred, but they eventually managed to check me in—though it did take quite a bit of time.”

“Stepping into the Old North Side B&B feels like taking a beautiful journey back in time. The owner, Gary, is an absolute gentleman and an incredible host who makes you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. His passion for the early days of cinema shines through in every corner of the property. It is the perfect place to unwind, surrounded by history and unmatched hospitality. I cannot recommend it enough!”

“This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I travel several times a year and I’m shocked at just how bad this hotel is. I had several issues with poor customer service ranging from parking/valet issues, inaccurately advertised services and prices , housekeeping problems etc and every time I brought up issues to the staff they got super defensive and played the blame game instead of trying to resolve issues. Please do yourself a big favor and DO NOT STAY HERE.”

“The room we had was great. It was spacious and the tall ceilings made it feel even more spacious. The elevator needed some repairs because most of the handrails were falling off. Depending on what kind of experience you want, this location was located near a few bars with people enjoying themselves.”

“The property was as clean as possible. The kitchen was clean and well stocked. The bedroom was clean and our bed was comfortable. Towels were great bathroom also nice and clean. Staff was very good and nice. Carpet is the only thing that needs an update. Would definitely recommend and stay again”

“This was a wonderful place to stay. The staff was amazing. Loved staying in the historical district and when we wanted to go down to the canal it was a short Lift or Uber away. Would highly recommend.”

“Hotel is very run down. Sofa bed had a decretive sham that was torn... they repaired it buy a using a regular paper stapler ..staples came undone when pulling out bed and putting it back in. Outlets buy the king bed didnt work. Fire detector was coming off the wall. Closet door kept opening wouldnt stay shut. Over all. I will try to find another hotel in area hotel just not worth the high end price they want to charge .”
