"This hotel is a hidden gem! It’s a heavenly getaway for anyone wanting to relax in a comfortable room by the sea with an outstanding view. The private porches with hammocks are a lovely way to relax. The food at the restaurant is delicious (especially the green ceviche!) and they will bring meals or drinks right to you. The staff could not be more accommodating. Fantastic getaway!"

"The hotel felt very secluded and had a nice sand beach area. Not a beach for swimming. Too rocky but you can walk along the sand to a nice swimming beach (Playa Norte). Nice spa for massages. Beautiful patio with lounge bed with an ocean view. Highly recommend booking an ocean view Rooftop restaurant/bar. Great view at sunset! Easy walk to shopping and dining. Can rent a golf cart which makes it nice!"

"The resort had a good layout and the space felt open and was really well designed compared to other resorts. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The vibe is really chill. Not a party resort vibe. The food was fantastic. Almost upscale dining level. Even the service was great. Personally I didn’t mind only having 1 or 2 restaurant options for each meal but I can see how that could be a bummer for some. Drinks were great although inconsistent in quality depending which bar you order from. Activities were cool and felt creative. Did a sunrise walking tour of the island where we walked a portion of the island coast and saw a bunch of sea turtles. There was a cool cooking class. And dancing which we missed. There were many guests when we were there which was nice but it would be nice if it felt a small bit busier and a bit livelier. Unfortunately we noticed someone went through our things in our room on the second day and had stolen a small amount of cash, about 600 pesos and 30 Canadian Dollars (not enough to be worth getting upset about and ruining the trip so we just let it go). We think it was likely housekeeping, but I guess impossible to know for sure. In hind sight we should have put it in the safe. Lastly it’s a great little boutique resort to relax for a few days. The food is much better than your average resort but less options. You may be repeating dishes if you are there for more than 5 days."
