Our group of 6 was simply looking for a place to stay the night before our early ride on the Bernina Express but Andrea and this lovely hotel made it a Thursday night to remember. The view from the high patio in the afternoon, the twinkling fairy lights that greeted us when we walked back from a wonderful dinner in town and the outstanding morning breakfast that was made early to accomodate our schedule all contributed to our desire to teturn for a longer stay. We found our room spacious and absolutely clean. Ignazio and Donatella did all they could to be helpful. We had nice talks at the breakfast. I would stay again.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. I have arrived late and the restaurants were closed, Martina the receptionist offered me a sandwich and fries for free!

The hostel is more like a hotel, very good facilities, the only downside is the pasta which was way too salty for me.

I had a great stay and would definitely stay here again. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable, and the air conditioning worked very well, which was especially appreciated during the summer. The stay seemed to be a great value. My only suggestion would be to add sheer curtains so guests can have natural light during the day while still maintaining privacy. Madama was my first hostel experience and it was great! Beds were comfortable and the location was great, about a 5 minute walk to the metro which can get you anywhere in Milan quickly. Area is safe and always people around, but quiet. Madama’s bistrot is very lively, so if you prefer a more quiet hostel this is not for you. You can hear the kitchen working from the room but it’s usually quiet by midnight and starts up around 8 in noise. I did not mind this since I was out and about most of the...
