The property is old but it looks like they are trying to improve the grounds and maintenance upkeep. However if you want to play tennis, you cannot. The courts are damaged and the fence is rusted and falling apart. This complex overall has a lot of potential, and I hope the homeowners and management continue with the updates. "Super clean! Beautifully appointed - like the owner's personal home rather than a rental. Spectacular view. During the week, we were able to park close to the building but during the busy, holiday weekend, we had to use the shuttle. Could not have been happier!"

"We stayed for four nights in a three bedroom condo at the Chetola Resort in Blowing Rock, NC. The facility was immaculate and very well appointed. My daughter and grandchildren enjoyed many of the amenities of Chetola including fishing, playing pickle ball, swimming in the heated pool, and kayaking on Chetola Lake. "Location of this place is awesome. So close to Fred’s for breakfast and bullwinkles for dinner. My son and I came up and did some hiking on grandfather mtn. We brought our pickleball set and played on the courts. The place is clean and had everything I needed. Thanks for an amazing but too short vacay."

"We went for a late season ski weekend at Sugar Mountain. The condo is literally adjacent to the mountain peak lift. Best location you could ask for. Views from the balcony were amazing. Place was comfortable and clean. We will definitely consider renting this spot again if it's available when we return."
