Getting Around:

Many roads in the high desert are dirt, so please take it slow. While a car is required to get around, a four wheel drive car is not, but note that roads will often have ruts, particularly after a rain.

◎ SELF CHECK-IN: Easy self-check-in is available via the Yale keypad on the front door - a personalized code will be sent to you prior to check-in.



◎ EVENTS & COMMERCIAL PHOTOSHOOTS: Not permitted without prior approval, applicable permit, and additional fees.



◎ SOCIAL MEDIA: If you plan on sharing your experience on social media, please mention us!



◎ CELL SERVICE: Cell phone service availability and quality in the high desert varies by service provider. This is particularly true in the more remote areas of Joshua Tree, Pipes Canyon, and Pioneertown. Please be prepared by enabling WiFi calling or downloading a VOIP program.

We love the High Desert for a lot of reasons - including the open spaces, lack of crowds, and dry weather that we believe make it a safe place to visit.
