Waterfront Oasis with Boat Dock & Pool!

Summary:

Our home is the perfect launch pad for an ideal Keys vacation! Located in the picturesque Key Colony Beach neighborhood, you'll love biking and sunset viewing by the community's private pier and beach. Ideally situated near restaurants and activities. It includes a dock accommodating a 21-foot boat. Fully equipped with all the comforts of home, including kitchen equipment, linens, towels, shampoo, conditioner, toiletries, and more!



The Space:

This waterfront home features four bedrooms, a private pool, and a dock perfect for launching kayaks and paddleboards into the ocean or taking the boat out for a day on the water. Designed on a single level, it offers an open, airy layout ideal for families and groups. Enjoy comfortable, modern coastal décor, an equipped kitchen, and spacious living areas. The patio, surrounded by tropical foliage, is perfect for family barbecues or a peaceful morning coffee. After a day on the water, unwind with a sunset on the patio or a relaxing soak in the deep tub.



-Our dock can accommodate a boat up to 21'

-The bunk room includes a double bed at both the bottom and top bunks.

-The pool can be heated for a fee of $75/night.

-A high chair and a pack and play can be made available for no additional fee. Please request before arrival.

The Neighborhood:

Key Colony Beach is part of Marathon Key, which is a 10-mile stretch of island 2 hours south of Miami International Airport in the middle of the Keys island chain. In addition to being in close proximity of numerous restaurant and shopping hubs, our home is only a one hour drive from Key West and the home of Ernest Hemingway.

House was very clean and spacious for our family of 8. The pool was wonderful. If you are looking for a beach to swim, Sombrero Beach is close and was well kept. The small beach at Sunset Park is NOT for swimming, we learned that the hard way. Lol. Check out Marathon Lady party charters for reasonable group fishing rates, Aquarium Encounters was a great time, also if you want to fish off of the dock Marathon Bait and Tackle will rent you poles. They were very helpful.

Great family vacation

Spacious house, great pool, terrific location, lots to do in the area for all ages. Very different from other parts of Florida that I have been to. Lovely little beach a short walk away called Sunset Beach. Everyone of all ages shows up with a drink and/or snack and gets to listen to the Marathon singers and watch a the sunset.

The house and location was perfect for our needs. Inadequate amount of towels etc in the bathrooms for our group of nine, had us doing laundry nearly every day of our 4 day stay. We enjoyed our stay, and I would recommend to family and friends.

Great location, nice house, but has fallen into disrepair. Should be a luxury property and probably once was. Online pics do not accurately show current state of property. Dock is in unsafe condition. Dirty pool, burned out lights all over inside and out, overgrown vegetation, unvented dryer, broken lamps, broken tv, no streaming on tv, unstable internet, very worn furniture, missing furniture, no lamps in living room. Loud buzzing from pool equipment can be heard in bedrooms at night 24/7.

Amazing house

We had an amazing stay at this property! The house was spotless, well-organized, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were incredibly cozy, and we all slept wonderfully. The highlight was definitely the pool and backyard—absolutely stunning and spacious, perfect for relaxing and spending quality time. The location was ideal, offering a peaceful environment while still being convenient. It’s a fantastic spot for families, with plenty of space for kids to enjoy. The management team was outstanding—always helpful, quick to respond, and very accommodating. Highly recommend this property!

The home is in a great location very close to beach to watch the sunset. The house is nice, there was some cleanliness concerns the home is older. The pool is nice sized and gets deep. The landscaping at the home could use some care. Pool toys and floats left around the area. 2 chairs left at back of house were broken. The landscape blocks the sun from hitting the pool in the afternoon. The Queen bedroom doesn’t have a TV in there . Overall the home has most utensils and pots/pans

Beautiful Home!

We were a small group of three celebrating Dad's getting older. We had a wonderful time in a beautiful home. It was quiet but centrally located. It was showing some age and could use touch-ups, but nothing hindered our fantastic stay. I recommend Key Colony Inn for dinner. There is lots to do. We went fishing. It was Expensive but worth the price. We made a great mackerel ceviche and brought some home with lots of other fish. The home was bigger than we needed but knew that going in. Would be great for two coup[les with kids. Highly reccomend.

Disappointed

While the house is very nice, it is definitely showing signs of wear and tear. For example, on our first night, the mechanism that auto opens and closes the door into the garage, which was hanging by a thread when we arrived, fell and crashed on the floor. The sofa in the main living room, which you can see from every angle, had not been cleaned under in sometime and was rather gross. There is a drawer in the kitchen that no longer stays closed that we actually wound up taping closed so that we would stop hitting our legs on it. The pool area had broken equipment, toys and trash around that clearly had not been cleaned up in some time. One or two pieces of outdoor furniture were broken. And the dock is in need of replacing and seemed unsafe to use. And I don’t think the pool was cleaned before our arrival so by the end of our stay was rather dirty. The pool service came out on Saturday and the pool looked much better after. When we arrived, the main AC seemed to be struggling and by checkout a week later didn’t seem to be working properly. On two separate days, we noticed roaches in the kitchen. While we had a great time with family, we certainly felt the house needs some TLC for the price.

Wonderful

This property was just incredible. The pictures truly do not do the house justice. The open kitchen and living area is huge and so airy, with tons of natural light. All bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect. The backyard was just perfect and serene- pool is beautiful with a nice balance of shade and sunny spots. We could not grt my 3 year old out of the water, he had a blast Great outdoor couch and table set. Grill was great. Was so nice to have beach chairs, flotation devices, etc at our finger tips. There were only a few cons- the outdoor lounge chairs really need to be replaced. One was broken and they are uncomfortable. Also, some of the interior finishings have taken a little bit of a beating. For example, the cabinets are scuffed and a bit misaligned in one area. This did not impact our stay at all and we spent a lot of time in the kitchen as all the appliances worked great. There were 7 of us, ranging in age from 7months to 72 years old, and we all loved this property so much. Highly recommend.

The last Spring Break

Marathon is very quite town for families. Took my wife and two teens for nice Spring Break. The location was perfect, the kids used the pool every day and the house even had bikes there. My daughter biked all over Key Colony Beach. Love Sombrero Beach just 4 miles away, it was not full until after 1pm. Get there early and we loved it.

Beautiful property

Bright inside. Beautiful kitchen and large rooms. Heated pool, bikes, kayaks and beach chairs/towels available. Only downside for us - Could not fish outside on dock and pool was shaded. Property manager was great. Communication was fantastic. Definitely recommend!!

Absolutely perfect

Breathtaking from the moment we walked through the door. Perfect location in a quiet neighborhood on the back of a canal and beautiful foliage surrounding the entire property made it feel like your own tropical oasis. The interior is beautiful and the pictures don't do it justice even as pretty as they are. The management company was so attentive and checked if we needed anything multiple times during the stay. We Cannot recommended this location enough and are already planning our next year trip here. Absolutely perfect.

Fantastic location and property

You can go to key largo or key west or stay out and enjoy all that the middle keys have to offer. Outstanding house with great amenities. Wonderful management. Truly worth the stay. We may be back!
