Don't miss the Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory, less than a quarter-mile away, and be sure to visit the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum to see how Papa lived back in the 1930s. The grounds have a lot of lush vegetation, which appears to be a perfect habitat for at least a couple of iguanas that hang out on the property. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The only thing to note is that there was a roach that crawled out of the bathroom sink as I was brushing my teeth. I didn't totally freak out but if that were my wife, there would definitely be screaming!
